"The property was a pleasant place with easy access to food and restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the internet connection was excellent, considering my cell phone’s 5G features were limited. I would appreciate it if the bars and restaurants could stay open past 8 pm, as everything closes early, especially being in a remote area. The front desk staff were amazing (shout out to Arturo and Aurelio)! They helped make our trip fabulous by helping us arrange dinner reservations and also helping us plan our fun activities and excursions. The onsite/in town restaurants provided many options and the food was very fresh and delicious. Staff at the restaurants were friendly, helpful and attentive. We loved the breakfast, great ceviche, tasty coconut shrimp and excellent coffee cheesecake. My Hubby loved the ice cream stand with fresh waffle cones. Check out the Patagonia store for yummy coffee drinks and empanadas to go. The onsite infinity pool was super chill and relaxing and provided us a great space to chat, meet folks, relax and enjoy great views of the ocean. The ocean/beach in front of the property was clean, semi private and easy to navigate as there were no rocks or obstructions in the sand. Great space for adults and kids. There’s a great hike next to the hotel. I would recommend sneakers or hikers because it’s rocky and there are changes in elevations. Lastly, bring mosquito repellant because those buggers are fierce. "

"Fernanda and Andy and Gravier the front office /lobby attendants and Glen and Milton were amazing! at the Sentido Norte reastaturan the waiters Omer, Andres, Christian, Ana Isabel, bartenders, etc teh chefs etc were truly exceptional, from the room cleaning staff to the highest positions were all very humble and professional. The owners of this resort are extremely lucky to have these staff are an amazing asset to the resort."

"We loved Bahía del Sol! Very quiet, beachfront property that was exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, the crew were always polite and helpful and happy hour never disappointed. "Let me start by helping others avoid getting lost when finding this hotel/resort. When searching on Google, it directed us to a different location—but luckily, it was close to the actual hotel. Make sure to look for Villaggio Sueño al Mar, Flor de Pacifico #5 (the correct location). Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by security, who will direct you to the main office. I booked a villa for a family of four, which came with two bedrooms. The villa had a kitchenette, which made it more affordable to cook rather than eating out all the time. Housekeeping came by every other day to keep the place clean. Keep in mind, this place can be a bit loud—almost like staying in the rural areas of Costa Rica. You’ll hear birds chirping, iguanas running around the premises, cows nearby, and even howler monkeys. One of the best parts is its location: close to beaches, local restaurants called “sodas” in Costa Rica, and small markets. Just be warned—there are bugs, and they will make their way inside (ants and millipedes). Bring bug spray, because mosquitoes will find you. Aside from that, I truly enjoyed my stay at Sueño al Mar—from the friendly, helpful staff to the unique, almost jungle-like experience."

"Amazing place to base yourself near Flamingo and Potrero beaches and local restaurants and groceries. Immaculate new kitchenware and appliances and thoroughly cleaned and the hosts were v communicative over Whatsapp. Would love to stay here again before too long!"

"We loved our stay in Las Catalinas! We stayed in a beautiful three-level, two-bedroom home with incredible views—sunsets from the balcony were unforgettable. The town itself is incredibly charming and totally walkable. Everything is thoughtfully designed, and it feels both upscale and relaxed. The only thing missing was a great boulangerie—while there is one in town, it was often nearly empty. A full boulangerie with more variety would be the perfect addition to this otherwise fantastic community. "
