"This place is absolutely beautiful. Extremely serene and quiet. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. It’s pretty remote so you have to go to the small town a few miles down the hill for additional dining. If you don’t have a car then good luck ha ha. Oh, and bring bug spray. "

"Everything about our stay was incredible!!! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last week. It was a very short drive to downtown Greve and easy access to so many vineyards. I cannot wait to stay here again! We were unexpectedly upgraded to the villa upon check in which was so spacious, clean and gorgeous. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed in! The grounds of the hotel were impecable and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We loved lounging by the pool area during our stay and the gorgeous views of the Tuscan hillsides. The breakfast on site was delicious with so many options. We especially loved the unlimited espresso and waters during our stay! We had dinner at the sister property up the street and it was outstanding. We will definitely be back! "

"Villa Le Barone is an amazing property in the heart of Tuscany. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in early August at Barone, and it was amazing from the moment we pulled through the century old gates which greet you upon arrival to the villa. While the villa dates back sometime, it has all of the modern day amenities including; air conditioning, infinity pool, wine room, etc. We enjoyed two amazing dinners on site, which includes an appetizer buffet each evening. The wait staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We ate on the outdoor patio both evenings and it was incredible both times. Thanks to the Chef! Breakfast in the morning, also incredible and plentiful. We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay, who were kind enough to let us pick a few tomatoes from their garden. In addition, we met their daughter and son-in-law, who were married in the nearby town. Nice to share a conversation with them. All of the staff were wonderful. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, especially whomever helped to remove the stain from my girlfriend's white pants. If you're look for breathe taking views of Tuscany, quiet surroundings, and an escape to what feels like a movie scene... This is it. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return. Best, Ken"

"A highlight during an already excellent vacation!! The service and amenities were top notch. Breakfast was delicious, wine tasting impeccable, and dinner scrumptious. The infinity pool was quiet and so relaxing to spend the day by!!! Could not recommend more highly. Easy to get to by car. Do yourself a favor and book!"

"This place was awesome. I travel a lot and this place was just a hidden gem. I am scared to give give it five stars because everyone will start discovering and I want to book for next fall or spring. The breakfast was excellent. Only 8 rooms. Overlooks Florence. The hosts were so nice. The host recommend a restaurant for in a small Villiage the first night. The steak Florentino in the village blew the steak in Florence away. We went for a quick weekend trip to watch MotoGP race. After staying here I will come back to just spend a relaxing week there in solitude. It was EXCELLENT. But please don’t book it when I want to go back. "
