"Parking was easy either out front the hotel or in their garage for $25 bucks a night, location was great short was to “Città Alta”, great neighborhood and staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good as well lot of selection to chose from 6:30-10am were the times for breakfast. "
"Very nice property and amazing help throughout the check-in and check-out process by the hosts. Very clean and great location right in the middle of town! "
"Marco was great with some concerns and responded immediately . Great location ,great room and perfect stay . The room was exactly as represented in listing"
"The woman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful. I wish I had got her name. She got us dinner reservations and helped us figure out our departure. Went above and beyond for us. The hotel itself is an amazing location and very stylish and quiet. Loved our stay!"
"Our three nights at the hotel were just wonderful. The staff was so helpful. The hotel was spotless, clean, and the breakfast every morning is excellent. I would recommend the hotel to anyone."
"The room was lovely, great bathroom, comfy bed and a nice balcony which got the sun in the evening.
We really liked the location too. It was a 3 minute walk from the bus stop for the airport bus and then a 10 minute walk to the funicular to the old town.
Check in was super easy, but you do need a phone to check in. There isn’t a reception.
We ate near the hotel rather than going back up to the old town and there are some lovely restaurants nearby.
"
"Perfect location. The owner, management and staff were sweet, kind, and helpful. Rooms were clean, and charming. Breakast buffet was outstanding. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat. "
"A quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. "
"This hotel was in the totally ideal place in Bergamo. A short walk from the railway station and another short walk into town. It was really well appointed with fantastic modern room, fully working air conditioning and fridge in the room. The breakfast was great. "
"This is our 4th stay here and we will keep coming back. Friendly host who is very responsive when you message. Clean, spacious and quiet room, in a fantastic location, with a local supermarket, other shops and bars within walking distance. "
"Small boutique hotel located just inside the walls of the old town so location is fantastic.
Bus outside to the airport every 20 mins or so easy to get to.
The old town itself is mostly car free with the narrow streets and surrounded by history.
Staff friendly, hotel comfortable, breakfast included which was a nice little buffet.
Rooms air-conditioned with a quirky style and a glass shower so you need to be comfortable with your roommate.
Would recommend and would happily stay here again.
"
"Great hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at Citta Dei. Breakfast was a plus, with many options. Staff was very kind and helpful. The mattress was very comfortable. It is a little bit far from Citta Alta, but it was close to bus 1, that takes you there. I really enjoyed the breakfast!!!"
"Really surprisingly good hotel. Very convenient location in central bergamo, and very helpful staff. Hotel looked brand new in the rooms and was very clean throughout. Breakfast options were very good. I would definitely stay here again next time in Bergamo. Free wifi throughout the hotel."
"The Hotel Bergamo a beautiful place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We did have an issue checking into room, and even after we could check in, we noticed that there was someone else struggling to access their check in code. Overall, however, I would highly recommend."
"This was a very classy hotel at a good price. Everything was great, the room was modern, bed & pillow very comfortable , the bathroom was modern, with a good shower, water pressure good. Great airconditioning, great location, high on the hill, but minutes from old town. There is a slight incline when walking back to hotel. The staff were all outstanding, the breakfast was very good. You could sit outside up stairs or indoors down stairs. Cerials, cakes juice upstairs, but much more down stairs, hot food, savoury, cheese, ham, etc. The staff make you a nice cuppaccino for you. The bus from the airport drops you about 150meyers from hotel, you just have to walk up the slight hill. If you arrive after midnight, you may need to take a taxi, make sure the driver knows where the hotel is, otherwise you get messed around an price can be as high as Euro50, not nice when bus costs less than a couple Euros Try the pizza restaurant just down the road from hotel, it's called Assaje, you get a lot more than you bargain for (few treats, including some alcoholic beverages for free). Overall a great stay and would go back there again "
