Lots of excellent restaurants, good shopping, easy to get around by car, more so during the off season. Avoid Saturdays (change over day) during the high season months or traffic will ruin your mood and day.

A great option for an off season getaway. Beaches are beautiful. Food is good. Golf is good if you don't mind alligators. No nightlife to speak of. Most places close at 9 to 10pm.

Always love HHI...had some great seafood and the island is kept very clean and has lots of natural beauty. You can tell that they work very hard to keep their island beautiful and as natural as possible without fast food signs etc. in your face.

The room was clean and very comfortable, with amazing mattresses and pillows. The sofa was a big plus for our family of five — we were happy to all stay together in one space.

"This place is amazing! Every staff member was beyond friendly and they went out of there way to make us feel welcome. The amenities were fantastic, the HH Prime restaurant was so good we went twice. Having the market onsite for lunch was so great and their food was unbelievably good. We had a chefs salad and caprese sandwich. The poolside service was also very good and they were attentive. We also enjoyed having to walkways to the beach. The only slight complaint would be there weren’t towels provided at the adult pool so we had to walk across to grab them which isn’t a huge deal but just a little inconvenient. We will be back!!"
"The staff were incredibly courteous and kind. They all greeted us and asked us if we needed anything even when they were clearly engaged in completing another task. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. Very private and there were multiple safery latches on the door in case you have a wandering child or personal safety concerns. The kitchen was very handy and saved us a lot of money wasted on food the toddler would probably not eat anyway. There were two burners and a full refrigerator plus a dishwasher, dish and silverware setting for 4 in our double queen with pot and pan and spatula and cooking spoon. Any supplies you ran out of could be requested from the front desk including towels and extra dishwasher soap. The laundry facility functioned well. The dryers were super fast. I only needed 20 of 55 minutes to dry our loads. I was able to do a quick post beach load in about 50 minutes. Ample space to spread out and sleep. Single mom with a toddler and a preteen and they did great in this space. We enjoyed the pool as well but we spent more time at the beach than pool side. Easy to get to any of the beaches but clearly Coligny Beach is the best per my kiddos. You can ride the trolley there, rent bikes or drive there in about 5 minutes. "

"Been there multiple times over recent years and we always enjoy our stay. A couple things we didn't care for this visit 1) Continuous calls from the Concierge desk. Letting us know at check in about specials and discounts is enough, i don't want notes left on our hotel door, calls, etc. 2) More pool chairs need to be set out during peak season. If every single chair is taken each morning by 9am thats annoying for guests. "
"Everything was great, clean, and roomy. The secondary room did not have a full size bed plus 2 twin beds as advertised. It only had 2 twin beds. The bright orange street light out front caused the room to be as bright as daylight during the night making it impossible to sleep. We recommend to property owners to add a blackout shade to that room window as the blinds were not enough.
We also hope that in the future, your no smoking policy will state that no weed should be smoked in or around the property as well as the neighbor to the left waa foung so and it smelled awful. That would definitely lower the class and family atmosphere of Hilton Head if that were to start up everywhere. I specifically come to Hilton Head as it is so clean and essentially a smoke-free island with smoke-free properties. That policy makes it a lovely and classy place to stay. "
