"The room was very nice and the ocean view was as advertised. We only stayed one night, but if we are ever back in Newport for a longer visit, this is the place we will be looking to stay. The only minor hiccup was that the room was not ready at 4:00, but the area is nice and we walked on the Cliff Walk for a bit until the room was ready. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a good variety of choices. All in all, this is a charming location with an acomodating staff and we very much enjoyed our...

"We stayed at Gardenview B&B for 2 nights in July. Ms. Mary has a beautiful house which she generously opens to her guests. She prepares delicious breakfast every morning, from scratch and it’s different each time. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and, yes, with the garden view. The neighborhood is quiet, easy to navigate through. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you."

Waterfront restaurants serve fresh seafood with harbor views, while boutiques offer nautical treasures and local crafts. Most accommodations feature period furnishings in historic inns with harbor vistas. The Point neighborhood in Newport captures America's colonial past with its extraordinary collection of 18th-century buildings. Newport is beautiful. The 25 mph speed limit on most roads was great for sightseeing. The historical district & buildings were lovely. Wish we had time to do more of the cliff walk! Stunning scenery. Friendly people everywhere we went. Great seafood!

Newport is a terrific little tourist town, regardless of the season. There's plenty to do in walkable distance and you'll never go hungry there. However if you do need to drive somewhere, parking can be a challenge.

Newport is an easy place to visit, but very touristy. It definitely has a relaxing vacation feel to it, but it is lacking unique dining and shopping experiences. The cliff walk is beautiful and a must-see though!
"Francis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. "

"America’s Cup Inn is my go-to inn when I visit Newport. It is central to nightlife, restaurants, and close to the marina. The all-inclusive breakfast is my favorite amenity as there is literally everything you can imagine minus caviar in the morning. In addition there is a hidden private rooftop on the top floor. Most guest do not know, but if you search the too floor you will find it."
"I have been coming to Newport for over a decade now and this was my first time staying at the Newport Bay Club & Hotel. The suite was spacious and bed was very comfortable. I got in extremely late, but the janitor was able to let me and gave me my room keys. The location was central to all of the restaurants, the marina, and nightlife. I did not bring a vehicle, but there is parking available if need be. I definitely will be looking forward to staying here soon!"
"Stunning decor and facilities. Friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable rooms, the bathtub and shower were to die for! Wonderful little touches like free yoga on the lawn. Simply perfect."
"Would highly recommend staying at this property. The staff was amazing and location was fantastic. Our suite was incredible. We cannot wait to come back!"
"My go to place to stay in Newport. I love the history behind the building. The staff are so kind. The 3 PM cookies are a nice touch and so yummy. Book early as not to miss The Jailhouse Inn which will add to your visit to Newport , RI

"My husband and I came for the night to celebrate our anniversary. The Burbank rose was clean, quiet, and walking distance to everything. Parking wasn’t too far. Our room had everything we needed for our stay. Priscilla was super nice and helpful for checking in and out. Will definitely come back again!"
"The Yankee Peddler gave us a perfect stay for a few relaxing days in Newport. The room was comfortable, quiet and attractive, the staff were friendly and informative, the continental breakfast was superb (broad, healthy and attractive), the location is an easy, safe 4-block walk to the waterfront (we didn't use the car once during our stay), and the free city buses stop right at the front door. Staff gave us great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Our stay was totally enjoyable."
"We loved Gilded. It seemed as though it was taken from another beautiful, quiet time. It was convenient and the home cooked breakfast were amazing! Katey could not have been sweeter or more helpful. Everything was PERFECT!!"
"Amazing location. Super clean. Room was a bit small but that’s only because we had a baby and a pack and play in the room but more than perfect for just two people. No food in hotel but plenty of amazing dining options very close by. Would love for hotels to offer early check in for a fee, but again only because of having our baby with us. Overall great property!"
"We had a great stay at Mill Street Inn! The property is in such a great location - walking distance to SO many things, but still lovely and quiet location. We had one of the duplex townhouses that had a balcony which was amazing! Loved having breakfast delivered each morning and sitting out on the balcony enjoying the great weather! Can’t recommend enough! "
"Great location. Friendly staff. Parking & Check In / Out was easy. Property including deck space was lovely. Really enjoyed the simple and delicious breakfast."
