"I had to wait 20min for the desk clerk to come back somewhere to check me in, no one was watching the hotel before i arrived. When he did arrive, he sqeeled to a stop, double parking across the handicap spot, then jumped out in a wife beater and signed me while clearly annoyed at my presence.
As for the room, it was in rough shape. Dirty coffee maker, stained yellow shower curtain, traces of black mold in the dressers, and the power kept going on and off.

"place was clean and central to everything that we needed to get to. Worked well for our large family with lots of kids. Fridge was just a mini fridge. Safeway is walking distance across the street. Upstairs bed was weird where my wife and I had to sleep separate on the edge otherwise we would sink in the middle a bit, nothing crazy but enough for us to comment that it was uncomfortable. Pool was nice for the kids."
