"Our family of 4 had a wonderful 6 night stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and the balcony had a lovely garden view. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill (no sidewalk, but the street is wide). We really enjoyed the amenities including the pool, hot tubs, mini golf, tennis, and basketball. The only downside is the weightroom has dated, poor functioning equiment and is poorly ventilated."

"Once we entered the room we found ants on the wall, a little dusty all over the counters and some hairs in the tub and trash under the bathroom sink. To stay there for just two nights it was okay. "

"Location, location. The hotel is quite run down, the bathroom has seen better days and the towels are extremely thin. The plus is that you are in the heart of San Clemente and the loaned beach visits are a plus! The air conditioning works well and the bed is comfortable"

"Everything felt clean and comfortable inside the apartment. It was easy to find and park. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was perfect. The garbage disposal needed to be run bc it was omitting a foul smell; food from a previous stay was still down there. Once we dealt with the smell, the place aired out and all was well. We loved that it was walking distance to shops and places to eat. "

The coolest bars aren't obvious. I didn't know they were there until my friend who is a local showed me around. Also, if you have high standards for Mexican food, avoid the burrito at Sanchos because it's bland.

It is a nice contrast to Oceanside , all of the beautiful beach views without all the foot traffic, the walking trail along the beach was nice because of the outlets you could visit different parts of city. Plenty of good food options and shopping.

"This motel was a great value for the price, with a spotless room at check-in that, while small, made excellent use of the space with some amenities like a mini fridge and small coffee setup. Internet was strong for phones and streaming. The TV had some apps available like Hulu and Netflix that would could sign in to if you have an account. The twin beds were comfortable, and the room stayed cool thanks to a strong A/C, though it was just as pleasant with the windows open. The owners were incredibly kind, quick to help, and offered great local knowledge that made the stay even better. There are several food options within walking distance of the motel. 10/10, would stay again. "
