"This was my second stay at The Archer, and once again it was fantastic! The bed feels like a cloud, the pillows are perfect, and the town atmosphere is so fun! "I initially thought the room was slightly too small for two people with luggage, but the water pressure was exceptional. The uncertainty surrounding the experience was part of its charm. Considering the cost, the stay was well worth it. The inclusion of two free drink chips for use at the downstairs bar was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, a variety of games were available to pass the time. The staff maintained a consistently positive demeanor, making my stay more enjoyable."
"The phone on our room didn't work to call the front desk, so we called the reservations desk to ask for toothpaste (we forgot it)and bar soap (wasn't in the bathroom). They sent toothbrush and toothpaste, but we got it sorted. The toilet paper holder fell off on the middle of the night, clanging loudly, so another call to the reservations desk and a few visits later, it was repaired. Overall, friendly helpful staff and good room.
Oh, pay attention to where your room is. The hotel spans an entire block so where you arrive and leave and the location of your room are important to note."

"Good hotel that is Very close to the Air and Space museum and National mall! Metro is about three or four blocks away but taxi’s are outside the hotel all hours of the day and are quite reasonable! There are not many restaurants in the area, however the wharf is amazing and a short taxi ride or long walk away with Tons of places to eat. I will say the Starbucks connected to the property is great and the McDonald’s that is half a block away is the cleanest and most efficient McDonald’s I’ve seen in years! We did not eat at the restaurant on the property but the bar is nice. It isn’t open til three or four in the afternoon and closes fairly early. There is also a convenience store diagonal across the street in the gallery building. The tourist sites are quite far apart and it was very hot when we were there so we used a lot of transportation but it is walkable if you choose to do that. "
