"Access to beach was great "

"Overall the property is nice and close to the beach but not on the beach. Just a short walk through Hurricane Moe’s parking lot. The hotel is updated and very clean. The pictures of the pool are misleading. The pool is not very big. The housekeeping crew was great! Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Overall a great price for the hotel. Hard to stay in a hotel without a kitchen, but great for a shorter stay. "

"Clean renovated. On hiway 211. 15 min to thorn gap entrance of shenandoah national park. 10 mins or less to luray town where we eat breakfast and dinner. Luray caverns is 10 mins. Centrally located . beautiful view of the blue mountains. my kids enjoyed the pool. its quiet. Staff helpful and respectful. "

"We had a very good stay and all the employees were amazing except for the breakfast lady I think her name was Sean. She was very nasty to my daughter and her boyfriend. She swore and was upset they were getting food 10 minutes before they close. She started to clean before the hours were done and even stayed right behind them cleaning up after them with them still getting food. I was not there or I would have said something. I did speak to the manager about it but from what I heard she was nasty to many people. We knew a couple that had three young kids and she was nasty to them as well. The next day we came for breakfast early and she is juts nasty and needs some customer service training. My daughter was getting eggs and sausage so she came up right beside her to check if it needed more. The top was open so she didn’t need to do that or she could have waited. She also came close to elbowing my daughter as she was standing there to set down a utensil as she got her food. Also she was sitting down talking more than working at all for a good 4-5 hours. "

"We arrived at 4:30 to check in and came to the clised office to be greeted by a sign that said to check in at the hotel next door. Drove next door and presented to the feont deak only to be met by someone who did not know why I wpuld be checking in over there. I called the # that was on the note of the front door of the original hotel and this receptionists phone rang however she said that wasnt the correct #. The receptionist got her manager and when the manager came in she checked in someone else thinking it was me. I eventually got checked in and got my room code (which she announced to the entire lobby). Other than that mess of a check in....the motel was perfect. Laid back. Local. Great neighbors. Great beach access. We will be returning. "

"The cabin was a perfect place to go to sleep after staying out all day on the beach. Close to Fat Boys for ice cream and some of our favorite restaurants. Although advertised as “soundproof walls” our experience was otherwise, could definitely hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. No complaints, would stay there again with my wife on another long weekend on the Outer Banks!!"

"It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!"
