"The best thing is the spectacular view of Mount Fuji from the room balcony complete with a small fireplace. Staff Service is excellent. Glamping activities provided some complementary some with fees. There is no breakfast included for my stay. But the breakfasts and dinners we had were very good. Can be pricey but safe the hassle of looking for food. To really enjoy the stay I would suggest signing up for some of the activities provided. Property is tucked away on the hill. If you plan to move around. Rent a car. But the property is already a great place to chill away from the crowds."

"The whole ryokan experience was great with only 2 things that needs to be improved. First being the in-room dinner service: the staff didn't mention that meal was being served as courses and we thought the initial portion served was the entire thing. The rice was missing so I had to check with the reception on this. It was confusing on both ends as receptionist mentioned that the staff would have informed us that dinner is served 3 courses but we were not aware. Food was great and delicious but do not expect to take your own sweet time to eat. Staff will clear it within 1 hour even if you have not finished eating. Second thing was that the bidet was not working! Receptionist was informed twice and they said they will check it out but nothing was fixed.. was honestly really disappointed in this. The payable private onsen wasn't anything spectacular, not worth the JPY 3,300 IMHO. "

"This hotel has the best view for Mt Fuji. We got up 5:30 in the morning and enjoyed the sunrise and Pink Fuji. The best part was that we could enjoy the Mt Fuji from open air hot spring Onsen. It was the breath taking experience."

"The pod was amazing, a good size for 2 people with a comfortable bed. We stayed when the temperature dropped into the minus and it was plenty warm enough in there. Each pod gets it's private bathroom and cooking area. We added on the dinner package last minute for one of the nights which they kindly organised. The food quality was great and you got instructions on how to cook each meat if you are unsure. We had breakfast each morning, you get plenty of food but it is the same each time. The other 2 nights we walked 2 minutes to a place which does amazing burgers. I think the only downside is not having a little tuck shop on site for snacks or an option to be able to bring your own to cook on the BBQ because they only arrange the coal if you've ordered the dinner. But we were there to relax before going back to the city and we managed to do just that. We also got to experience our first onsen as they allowed tattoos. The staff were amazing and I would definitely go back."

"There was a lot of activities at the property. Even if I didn't go outside, there was enough things to do at the hotel that we cut our plans short to make sure we were back at the hotel early. Property was well-kept and clean."
