Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is worth a pic or two when discovering South Rehoboth. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is walkable and has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Lewes Beach, located 1.4 mi (2.3 km) from central Lewes Beach. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Cape Henlopen Beach and Rehoboth Beach.
After visiting Wilmington Riverwalk, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Wilmington. Attend a sporting event or simply enjoy the top-notch restaurants while you're in the area.
"Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Didn't use the pool but it looked very clean. Breakfast was just bagels/muffins/cereal nice but not very filling, but you can walk to Cracker Barrel so it's not too bad. "
"The staff was extremely gracious, welcoming and helpful. I cannot express enough how CLEAN this hotel is. They were cleaning morning, noon, and night. They were even cleaning the deceptive pillows the day we checked out. The beach and village are not even a 10 minute walk down the street. They puget a continental breakfast daily and 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Definitely a good find! Will stay again. "
"Whether you are at the beach for a getaway or here on business and just want a no-frills hotel just to lay your head at the end of the night, this is the place. I come to town a lot for business, and I spend my days visiting clients. At the end of the day I just want a place to sleep. I don't need a bar (there are plenty within walking distance), a pool (the ocean is a block away), or other amenities that would be needed where I travel elsewhere. If you're looking for the same - a place to just sleep at a decent price - look nowhere else.
The price is seriously half of what the cheapest hotels charge, but don't expect a hair dryer, iron, free breakfast, coffee in the lobby or anything else. As I stated above, this is a place with zero frills. However, even though the price may suggest, this is not a cheap roach-infested motel or a place that's been run down to bare bones minimum by a family from India. It's VERY clean! It's not super modern, but it is adequate. The owner is very friendly, compassionate, and accommodating - everything you would expect from a front desk person but much more personable. He's an everyday beach guy so don't expect someone to come out with a suit and tie. This isn't the Hilton and not intended to be.
It is the best place to stay in town for the money."
"Fantastic stay here! The facilities are well kept and I loved being able to walk out of my room through the double door in my room straight to the pool. I would stay here again!"
