Shame about this establishment.run down property although rooms are passable and of reasonable stamdart Main building which housed the restaurant falling apart and need a lot of TLC.saying all that a decent investment would turn this place in to a little gem. Pictures on the website particularly on the outside are clearly well out of date. Whilst handy for the town ...less than 10 minutes by car we won't be staying here again. We travel to Freiburg 2 times a year ..have been doing so for 35 years . I wish them luck .

The place is worth for its price. It is a bit farther from the city center but since the bus stop is literally in-front of the hotel, it is not a big deal. There are no other dining options around the area. Overall, the accommodation is good, it is clean, they clean up everyday or upon request, the receptionists greet you whenever they see you, they speak good English, so that helps. Check in and check out process were pretty smooth. My room was next to the street and so I can hear the activities outside, just enough to notice it and not really annoy you. Shower curtain rod feels like it would give up on you since it it made of PVC pipe. Just be careful, I guess.

Spacious room, but could use a renovation. The flooring was carpet and had some old stains. I would suggest to remove the carpet and replace it with something easier to clean. Also the bathroom was rather old and could use an update. But for everything else it was a perfect accommodation. Breakfast was very good and staff was friendly.

Breakfast is decent. Access to lobby is horrible as we have to lug our luggage up the steps with no help. One of our family member's room is horribly small and hotel will not make any concession despite having booked over 6 months ago, we should have been given priority on the better rooms. No air conditioning is a negative!

Ein sehr schönes zentral aber ruhig gelegenes Hotel, ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus plus Tiefgarage, sehr freundliches Personal, Bar und Aussenbereich sehr einladend, Zimmer mit Balkon, sehr großzügig, sogar mit Sitzgelegenheit zum fernsehen, sehr sauber, Matratzen super, Bad ebenfalls top und sauber, Frühstück sehr vielseitig, von Kaffe und Tee, verschiedenen Brot- und Brötchensorten über Müsli, Wurst,Käse, Lachs bis hin zu Rührei mit Speck und Würstchen alles vom feinsten. Sonntag gab's sogar ein Glas Sekt. Es waren tolle Tage mit sehr nettem Personal in einem wirklich schönem Hotel ... wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen ganz sicher wieder!! 😀
