This was fine for passing through the Lake Sunapee area. A good price and nice service. A working small fridge but no ice available (is less than 1/2 mile drive though).

Manager/Owner greeted us along with another staff member. Received a phone call asking if we would be arriving before 8pm (time the office closes); we did; we where about 3 minutes away Staff very friendly. Room clean and we got an upgrade.

Room was very large and clean. Needed table under hanging ceiling lamp. Beds were very nice, comfortable with fresh clean linen. Older motel kept up with fresh paint.newer roof. Bushes out front needed pruning . Hanging plants along terrace would be more inviting.

The air conditioning didn’t work and it was incredibly hot. The people around our room were very loud and very concerning for an older woman traveling with her two young grandchildren. I left at first light and didn’t stay there the second night. I was also told I could not get anything reimbursed which doesn’t seem right.

The Newport motel was clean, and reasonably priced motel. We stayed after a ski day at Sunapee and although not a full service hotel was perfect for what we needed- a clean comfortable place to sleep. We would stay here again.
