Nice hotel, noise problem.
A nice smallish hotel in a good fairly central location. Very good breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. The only downside was that our room experienced noise from below from a part of the property that was, apparently, not owned by the hotel. Loud, thumping music came through on the number of daytime occasions and when we complained to the hotel, they said they were unable to do anything about it until after 10 o’clock at night because of legislation. After our third complaint, we were offered a move to a different, and upgraded room. However, as there were only 36 hours of our stay left, it did not seem worth the hassle. Our strong advice is explicitly state you do not want room 101 (one of the larger rooms with balcony).

Great place to stay in Valetta
Amazing place. Easy walking distance to everything, but away from the crowds. The breakfast was excellent too. The Hotel staff were very nice, helpful and professional. They helped us with finding a taxi to get back to the airport and were following up with the driver every few minutes when he was delayed due to traffic (as we were getting late for our flight). Although we had already checked out in the morning, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the Hotel, and when we came back in the afternoon, we even took a shower and changed at no extra cost.

Amazing staff!
My god this place was beautiful - and so were the people there! The hotel itself was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about it: the location was fantastic, the room was beautiful, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. However on our last night there (staying 5 nights) I fell and dislocated me knee quite badly. I was not able to move or get up. As I have had this happen a few times before, I knew that I needed an ambulance as I required pain medication or laughing gas to allow me to relax enough for the knee to go back into place. My fiancé went downstairs to the front desk to get help -and the staff were incredible. Not only did they arrange for help to come right away, both the lady on duty at the desk and the manager both came upstairs to our suite to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible while help arrived. They were just amazing. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It is not a huge hotel - which is wonderful. Whenever you come or go from the lobby, the staff give you a smile and say hello and they remember who you are! I love this place. And my thanks so much to the staff for going above and beyond to help me when I was injured!

Historical boutique hotel - formerly palace of one of the Knights of Malta - we enjoyed room with balcony & hot tub - superb breakfast - gracious and hospitable staff - we highly recommend - well worth the price in a quiet residential area only a few blocks from main streets - very safe - rooftop pool and terrace

The room had water pipes in the wall so when people showered at 1 in the morning the noise was LOUD. Front desk was was not overly helpful. Location a little down from the busy area. I would recommend staying at the sister hotel The Gomerino, far superior experience.

location was excellent, walkable everywhere in Valetta. The staff are all excellent, very helpful to calling airline to transportation and sightseeing options. Breakfast is excellent. Room is extremely clean, super spacious. The rooftop swimming pool and relaxation area is a real bonus after a day of sightseeing. Definitely recommend.

Our room with queen sized bed was exceedingly cramped with no room for luggage, did not meet expectation in that regard.

Had a lovely week stay here. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Considering its in a busy city the room was very quiet. We had a hot tub and sea view which I recommend. Breakfast has lots of options. Valletta is a very hilly city so it's an uphill walk in the mornings but it does mean its an easy downhill walk to get back! Had a lovely stay and will return!

We enjoyed our stay at Palais Le Brun. Hotel is in a good location to get around the city easily, has a nice roof top pool and bar, and has a relaxed, chilled feel about it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only two negatives, breakfast was quite basic, but fine for our short stay. Also building works going on around hotel, so a number of large cranes. Not the hotels fault and didn’t impact our weekend.
