Drove 5 hrs and no room with reservations!

Poor poor management. I booked this place 3 weeks ago. I drove 5 hours and my kids are tired. I get there and the room was canceled. Not one person called me. Management didn’t call anyone that had a room. Everyone was sent away. How crappy is that on a holiday weekend in a town with only two motels. Will never book here again and this was my first time booking here.

Toilet seat was a soft seat, but it was full of cracks so very, very dirty. The curtains were all torn up. And wouldn’t close properly. The carpet smelled horrible. The silverware was just four small plastic forks and one small spoon. I’ve had coffee pot pods, but only one cup and we a couple. We will never stay there again. The woman agreed us was very nice, but it definitely needed a lot of work. We were four people each got a room and both rooms had serious issues. The heat didn’t work. Very very noisy heater and air conditioner. I ended up spending half of the night sleeping in my car. Because the mattress was as hard as a rock harder than the floor. It was a sad way to start our vacation.

The adjoining properties were dilapidated and run down. Not the motel owners responsibility though. A good buffet breakfast with many options. A good set of instructions posted in each room.about how to operate the TV would be a good idea.

Our first room did not have a flushing toilet. The receptionist move us to another room. The room has a flushing toilet but no functioning light. Both rooms have a very strong odor. We just sleep there so it doesn’t bother us. Surprisingly, has a good breakfast.
