Relax at the Marram

Locations are d writhing, and the marran has this, right on the beach, watching whales, dolphins and spinning sharks from the comfort of the pool and/or beach…… lovely sitting area for drinks and dinner watching the sun go down. This is a hotel to savour on a nice night, we stayed the 18/19 sept, 2025! One thing that was a shock, no TV in room and little hanging space for clothes, so if you can manage around that (as we did) The other odd point and the reason for my low score on Eco friendly, is the hotels use of plastic fork, knives and spoons, and plastic cups which in this day goes against the grain, so that aside if you want a modern hotel in a great location thus is a must……. And one, that we would go back too.

We only stayed one night but aren’t leaving without booking another trip soon. Btw, the food for adults were fantastic, however nothing to accommodate the kids which was weird since the place is so kid friendly.

Amazing location. Everything is new and fresh. Lovely small, well-heated pool. Room is minimalist chic. No TV set. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant was not open as it was a Monday to Tuesday stay. 8AM yoga class was great. Complimentary continental breakfast was also nice. All of the public spaces are chic and comfortable.

Disappointment

The gently "green" philosophy is appreciated, but the rate charged is borderline outrageous considering the quality of the room (the one my family and I stayed in). Granted, the hotel’s location is fantastic, but the room was small, without a TV, dark, bare — almost monastic… In short, sad and with no view… and all that for nearly €1,000. A big disappointment for us.

Never again!!

The beach hd run out of towels and made not attempt to find any. The air conditioner was very loud and apparently connected to the neighboring rooms and cannot be independently turned off. We were freezing and turned it off, only to have hotel staff knocking on our door at 11pm (waking up my family) to tell us to turn it back on due to the neighbors being too hot. This is bizarre for $900 per night accommodation. The beds were not comfortable and pillows flat. The entire place felt like a dressed up motel (lipstick on a pig). Only positive was the location, but might as well had paid less then half the price for a neighboring motel.
