DeQueen is a very small town, and there are no 5 star properties there. The Western Plaza is a clean motel with friendly service. Restaurants nearby and daily housekeeping.

One Night Stay

This is an older motel, with all rooms facing the parking lot. It was mostly empty when I arrived, but there were "big truck" sounds all night. However, it didn't disturb my sleep and the bed was quite comfortable.

A good stay

For the price, the hotel was surprisingly well. It was clean bedding, clean shower and bathroom, smelled clean. Had good eneminties, clean fridge and microwave. The chairs had some stains and the drywall was not perfect but we enjoyed our one night stay without any major issues. I would stay there again if I was ever in the area. I do not look for fancy, I like cheaper with cleanliness. And this hotel was just that and friendly staff.

I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. I didn't like that they didn't have breakfast. I was very happy with the daily cleaning of the room. I had no trouble during my stay.

Great Service

I want to give a lot of credit to the owner and staff. They did a great job of servicing my stay. I stayed at the facility all week - Sunday evening check-in through Friday morning. I received full service everyday. Each day I returned from my work site, the room was clean and the towels were replenished. I will definitely stay at this motel again if I am in the area.

The motel looks like it is run-down, but the rooms are very clean, well appointed, and well stocked. The owners are very helpful. We had a couple of requests for extra supplies which were taken care of immediately. We wanted to change rooms and they gave us a different room with no questions and no hassle. Best thing about this was how clean it was and how responsive the owner/staff was. 2nd best thing was the mexican restaurant just 100 yards north of the hotel. Ask for the green salsa!

Im from dequeen an have stayed at every motel there but this one.i cant say anything was wrong with it...no prob checking in,the room was fine,plenty of towels,no bugs,tv was fine,slept pretty good,matress was on a metal frame,made it loud when u moved around,but id stay there again

If ur looking for a clean, comfortable, place to rest, this works very well. Convenient to major hi-ways helps U get on ur way. U do get noise from occasional train warning horns but not a deal breaker. Cost is important and room rate is excellent. Only negative was coffee and doughnuts were advertised for breakfast but not available. McDonald’s across street took care of that

The only thing was the bathroom was not handicap accessible but we made it work for us and the beds were high. I had to go buy a step stool to get up on the bed. But it was a nice room and very comfortable.

Average property, nothing special. The room was above average. What I didn't like was that there is no pool and there is no breakfast offered. Also, the hotel employe was not personable at all. No smile, no welcome, but not rude.
