We loved being in the heart of Old Town Square just steps from the Astronomical Clock. Our room even had a darling balcony where we could look at the tower and listen to the chimes! We spent an evening in with drinks at Black Angel’s - the best cocktails! - followed by dinner on the glorious rooftop terrace. Prague is already magical, but our stay at the Hotel U Prince made our trip even more memorable!

The hotel location was excellent at the heart of the old town with the clock tower and the main square right around the corner. The room had a nice classical decor with a very spacious adjacent bathroom. A small single elevator we had to share with the rooftop bar customers was crowded at times, but we managed.

Nice place if you are in to very old antique style places. Right in the middle of old town square. If you like more modern places then, this is not the place for you. I recommend going to the bar in the hotel for the service was amazing. Shout out to Harry, Blue, Liza, Quinn, and rest of the bar staff. Awesome crew.

Omg the breakfast was good the location is amazing!! can not get any better the outside restaurant for people watching was also super nice. The checking in and just overall service was good. What a truly magnificent stay in such a unique hotel in the centre of the Old Town, Prague. We loved our stay here. The location is unbeatable and so close to many tourist attractions. The people who work here genuinely took care of us, the room was spacious, comfortable and always beautifully cleaned. This is very well recommended.

The property is quaint and very well positioned. I found some staff friendly while others dismissive. It is unfortunately an influencer’s hot spot as they arrive in droves to go to the terrace on the 4th floor for the view of the square. This means the lift is often hard to access and frankly annoying being around the influencer set all day. The bar at the bottom is historical and comes with a wonderful backstory. Unfortunately they play 80’s top ten hits which ruins the ambience of a 1920’s speak easy. Bizarre! Nonetheless an interesting and central place to stay.

Wonderful space in the center of Old Town

We really enjoyed our stay dispite the room being right next to the line of guests waiting for a rooftop restaurant table. Because we were jet lagged and couldn’t sleep with the noise outside the hotel changed (and upgraded) our room. This was wonderful and we slept very well. Staff were friendly and had great recommendations for dining- don’t miss The Deer! We will come again
