Beautiful Modena and Great stay at Vittoria Veneto

Wonderful stay at Vittoria Veneto. Easy check in, safe access to the property and parking is on street with a free voucher. The room was really nice with a great bathroom with huge shower. Kettle and coffee machine. Really close to the centre but on a quiet and very beautiful street. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Great stay in Modena!

Our stay here was great and just what we needed. The room was very spacious and had two(!!) AC units. The shower and bathroom were both very large. We didn't receive the email with the entry information and when I called I was able to get it quickly and easily which was a relief. They provide a parking permit for on-street parking in front of the building which is very convenient. The property is convenient to walk all of Modena but in a quiet and less busy area.

Great Place to start exploring Modena

The apartment was conveniently located with ample free parking and a few minute walk to the city center. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the AC very strong. Our host was very accommodating and it was a great value.

Very clean, well located to Modena Centro but easy to reach by car with on street free parking. Arrival is entirely independent as a receptionist is present only from 8-1pm but all necessary information is provided and welcoming email includes all the codes for front door, room key and parking access. No elevator.

Was told by the site the room was on the 2nd floor. It was on the 3rd floor. tv remote needed batteries. Couch bed was damp when we arrived. No english tv stations.

The hotel is small but cozy. The biggest problem was the neighborhood which looks nice enough but there are some seedy characters that travel, usually by bike or scooter, that you need to watch out for. We learned that the hard way as we came down to our rented car after the first night to find it had been broken into! We had 2 busted windows and a lot of headaches and financial burdens! Hotel, of course, is not responsible.

I stayed for five nights in May 2024. My room was large and clean and had all the amenities I needed. The location is wonderful - just a 5 minute walk to the center. I didn’t see the staff very often because it was mostly unstaffed, but when I did they were friendly and helpful. A few opportunities for improvements: My room was very humid. Being on the first floor, I didn’t want the windows open all the time so people could see in. I did a load of washing my first day there and after three days it still was not dry and it was hard to sleep due to the humidity. I asked twice and finally the air was turned on. My shower head leaked over the top of the shower door, which meant my bathroom was all wet after showering. There are safety boxes where you can leave your key, which I did because the keychain is very large and heavy. On my last day the code to my box was no longer working and I was locked out. After about 20 minutes I found a housekeeper upstairs and I was able to get into my room. I recommend taking off the keychain and bringing the key with you to avoid being locked out.

This listing was very misleading as I thought I was booking a hotel. No one greeted us, in fact there was no one working at all. Not only was it self check in with a lock box, but we received a parking pass that included a warning on how unsafe the theft was in the area, we didn’t feel safe parking there. The room was up on the fifth floor with no elevator and so many flights of stairs. The room was decent but didn’t look entirely like the pictures, it felt more like a dorm room. We were so disappointed that we immediately left and had to find another hotel in the area to stay at after we had already paid in full for the night through Expedia. What a disappointment and waste of money. I would not recommend this property to anyone I know.
