Great stay
We got upgraded from our standard room to an ocean facing deluxe room. This was on the fourth floor of building 4 (no elevator) which we made work but not ideal. Staff was friendly but we spent quite a bit of time after being seated waiting for a server. We eventually learned to have our drink and food order ready because the wait times between interactions could be lengthy. Beach was gorgeous and convenient. Food was nice and specialty restaurants were special. Typical Mexican resort issue of poolside chairs being mainly towel holders for people who were back at their room or eating.

No the worst, not the best
I wouldn’t stay here again, however it’s certainly not the worst. It was perfect for our one night layover in Cancun. They offered an airport transfer (for a fee) which is ultimately why we chose this resort. The dinner buffet was very small, but the restaurants on site looked really nice. Staff hospitality was lacking a bit, everyone was nice but not very informative or anything special.

The perfect friends holiday
We loved our time at NYX! The rooms are small but spacious enough with all the things we needed, the balcony was lovely with a view of the sea. All of the staff are so friendly! We didn’t have a bad meal, the food was great and a good selection too. I’ve never been to an all inclusive with an al a carte restaurant available everyday. We loved spending time at The Deck restaurant. The drinks are fab too, they’ll make any cocktail you ask for. We also enjoyed the activities we took part in. There is a bus stop just outside the hotels and taxis are easy to get too. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say!

Hotel located good area. Room was spacious. Bath room door was stuck and couldn't open suddenly ,middle of night. Room light couldn't turn on suddenly. Restaurant umami was excellent. Over all, this is a really nice hotel. It is a little bit on the small side, but the people working there makes up for the lack of size. The only issue that I found, it is advertised as an all inclusive resort, but they have a few exclusions , primarily at the restaurants. We stay for 6 nights and got dinner at their main restaurants for only three nights, which it was limited to. The rest of the nights we had to pick from their only other restaurant. Other than that, it was a good stay

What made Hotel NYX so great was the staff. They were absolutely amazing! The resort is a boutique resort, so your expectations of entertainment and size has to be realistic. They only have one pool that isn't large and does not have that many loungers. However, that wasn't a problem for us, because this hotel is located on such a beautiful beach, and we never had a problem getting a lounger on the beach. The food was decent (what I expect in Mexico). Our best meal was at the hibachi, it was great. The server was great and the cook, Erick, was awesome and entertaining! Armando was an excellent bartender. All in all, I would go back,
