Design flow prevents you from a good night sleep
There's a design flaw where top bunk beds are not covered on top. You can hear people snoring and noise from air conditioner, and because of the extreme small room and the beds are right next to each other, the sounds are so loud it's like they're right beside you. Also it feels as if sleeping two feet under the light when people turn the room light or their light on (and they will for the whole night). Air from air conditioner is approximately two feet from you and the air will blow directly at you. Stayed there a few nights and was promised by the lady at front desk to move me to a lower bunk bed, but then told me the next day they couldn't do it because all the rooms are booked even though she checked the occupancy chart the night before. It is one of the newest hostels I've stayed in Taiwan, also one of the worst since I never got a good sleep. Will never go back again.

Backpackers in Taipei
Hostel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small/ no windows, but just right for resting (not for working). The community room has simple kitchen and large dinning room set ups (microwave/toaster oven, hot water, coffee/tea makers, laundry set too), a flat screen TV, a couple computers, Internet/WiFi thru out in particular is very efficient. Plenty of shower stalls, separate toilets(secured to open by guest registered room card key) Wall paintings are very inviting and pleasant.

1/16 13:00 in。この時間にできるのはありがたい。なぜここにしたかは、台北小巨蛋は徒歩で行けるから。(2回目宿泊) トイレ、シャワー室を整えないままいなくなるのは、やはり耐えられない。 あと…23:00頃？歯磨き粉しに共用スペース行ったら、上半身裸の男がじーっとかただ見ていた。 目が悪く距離あったが、不気味で気持ち悪かったことくらい伝わった。 部屋はベッド、机のみ。初めから知っていたし、寝るだけだからこれでいいのだが、ベッドの高さなぜこれ？と思った。怪我する。 あと、フックなし。子供用？みたいな小さいハンガーしかない。 これももう少し改善できると思う。 暖房ないのはわかるけど(石垣島から来てるから気候同じ)掛け布団で調整できるようにしてほしい。 3回目、今後のリピートは無し、かな。
