Nice but a little run down. Needs a bit of maintenance here and there. At its peak it would have been amazing. Check out the small private beach just below the hotel but bring provisions for the hike back up. Breakfast buffet is very good 4 stars. Other dining options are slightly limited but you're in Algarve! Also a bit noisy at night for those who go to be early, but this is a place for adults. The staff are the best thing about this place.

First, the location is excellent. Walking distance to beautiful beaches - Falesia and Olhos de Água. The room was spacious and very clean. Stayed for a long weekend, lots of lovely walks and beautiful surroundings nearby, particularly the coastal path by the hotel down to the beach.The hotel itself was fine with friendly staff and in a nice quiet area. Room was quite basic and the toilet flush mechanism was broken for the stay and kept draining. Good if you like resort holidays, but we spent most of our time out of the hotel, as it was very packed with British tourists. Not a fan of the food but lots of local options nearby.
