Two things stood out:
1. We were not welcome.
2. The lobby smelled like a cannabis dispensary.
As for my first point, Bob Marley released a song based on Haile Selassie's 1963 United Nation speech in which he elaborates, "Until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes, me say war."
And for my second point, as a non-smoking property, if I was burning down in my room I'm almost certain I'd be hit with a penalty. When I walked in with my family it smelled like downtown Denver on the 20th of April! The aroma permeated our room as well. Go outside to burn like everyone else.
Now, to be absolutely clear, had the hotel staff treated us as customers, (valued or not) instead of a burden, I would not be putting them on blast. Weed does not bother us, it's 2025!
