Check in went smoothly, easy to find and in walking distance from everything central, we asked for a quiet room and was provided with one the noise from the busy street didn't reach the room at all, room was clean and spacious had everything you would need, bed was big and somewhat comfortable, the pillows were too soft and uncomfortable. Checkout was smooth due to it being a self checkout system. Best feature was how central the property is. Overall 3*

Only downsides are no lift and annoyingly, very poorly insulated windows mean you hear every sound on the street...cars, drunk people coming home, rubbish collection etc etc if that was addressed this would be the perfect place to stay in Edinburgh!

Excellent location. Around each corner was a “Wow” Our room was on the 4th floor - with no lift. This was a little inconvenient- and there are folks that would be impacted. I wish I knew there was no lift - might have made me select a different place. I was able to navigate the stairs but I can see folks that would have issues.
