The Anderita Beach Hotel offers an excellent value. It's a short distance from the airport, its own restaurant plus proximity to several others, walking distance from the Victoria Mall, and is just across the road from the lake. The staff are cordial and efficient, and rooms are spotlessly clean.

Disappointing
Really disappointing - despite requesting a lake view room and booking, we were then given a family room at the back of the hotel. The toilet didn't flush, and the bathroom seemed dirty. None of the appliances in the room worked, so we were left feeling very hot and unable to sleep well.

If you are expecting American standards you will be disappointed but if you know Uganda and have been before you will be pleased. This was my second visit. The hotel grounds are beautiful, air conditioners work. We will stay there again.

Every this was superb until we ran out of soap. We called reception and they promised to bring it up. Day two passed and there was no soap! We went physically to the reception and requested for the soap, a box of soap was then delivered to our roam! Other than that, everything was splendid.

Make certain you get a room on the upper level with a view of Lake Victoria - view is like a postcard with a wonderful balcony. Very friendly helpful staff. Walk across the dirt road to have dinner or drinks on the edge of the lake - the hotel has its outdoor restaurant there. There is also a pizza place next to the hotel dining.

I stayed here both before and after my Uganda Gorilla safari. I loved the location with Lake Victoria across the dirt road - view from my second floor balcony was gorgeous. The staff always was helpful and very pleasant - they always sent someone to fix things when something did not work which was frequent as property is older. If you can manage with very basic amenities and just want an inexpensive hotel with friendly staff and a postcard view, do stay at Anderita Beach!

This property has a unique staff members that make you feel home and comfortable. If you need anything that you don't see, just ask, and many suggestions will be given to you. They have a mall and many supermarkets around this property

This hotel is run down. The beds were sagging in the middle. The area was super noisy. We’re heard music playing at 2:00 am.

The location was good, however the hotel was not really a comfortable stay. There was a lot of noise that carried from room-to-room at night and the bathroom had mold on the ceilings. The breakfast was decent, however it seems like the only thing you are paying for is the location, which is right on Lake Victoria and near Victoria Mall / Imperial Mall. Additionally, the shuttle to the airport is helpful. I don't believe I will stay here again, as the price exceeds the quality of the hotel and sleep.

Reasonable hotel located in the tourist area in Entebbe on the shores of Lake Victoria. Not all rooms with same quality. First room i had was poor. The following night got a much better room (same cost). Breakfast poor. Service good.

This place is totally beat. It's run down with dirty rooms and uncomfortable beds and AC that doesn't work. Staff was nice, but didn't seem to know what they're doing. They didn't have my reservation so I had to show them a printed copy of my booking receipt. Breakfast food was terrible. You can do so much better for what they charge.

Good value, budget hotel giving a pleasant stay.
Every one was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good African meal. The room was spacious, clean and perhaps with more furniture than necessary. There were insufficient electrical plugs for modenn day life. The big bath in the bathroom looked inviting but there was no hot water. The veranda was my favorite place to sit as the views in both directions were amazing. We are a cross- cultural couple and we both enjoyed the atmosphere. I just wish they had a lift so that i could have avoided the stairs !

Beds need a upgrade.
The check-in process was smooth, and the room was adequate, but it lacked a comfortable mattress and blankets. The lakeshore beach, on the other hand, was excellent. Breakfast was satisfactory. They didn't allow me to get free shuttle service because they said I was only booked for one night. That was not cool. I'm a client regardless of how long I stay.

I have been staying at this property over 10 years. Each time I come into Entebbe it's the 'go to' place to catch up with my time zone, have a walk by the beach & close to Victoria Mall for needed money exchange and purchasing supplies you can't get at the remote towns I visit. Don't expect AC to work in every room, that's what happened 2-days ago...requested room with AC but they could not find the remote. Towels...well generally you have to ask for them. The staff are all very willing and happy to meet your needs...BUT you have to ask. Do not assume anything. You are in a 3rd world country which does not operate like others. I will return to Anderita because I have a longstanding loyal to this property...and I love watching the monkeys travel through at sunset.
