This place was so cool to stay for a night! I loved having our own little cabin and privacy. It was neat to see the town and the history.

Awesome experience

Amazing location and fabulous cabin! We loved immersing in the Wild West of Nevada City and Virginia City while still having the option of a/c and comfortable beds! We wish we could have stayed long and will definitely be back!

Charming rustic cabin. Loved the quiet and peacefulness. Check in at the Fairweather Inn for your key.

Darling cabin. Very clean with friendly staff. No TV, but the view was spectacular. Would definitely recommend!!

The Nevada City cabins were awesome! Outside, they look like original 1880's cains, yet inside they were warm, modern hotel-like rooms. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings looked period-like. The bathrooms were modern, with walk-in showers and soft-close toilet seats. I would stay there again with no hesitation.

This was the second time we stayed at the cabins, and both experiences were excellent. Although on the smaller size, the cabin is smaller...but clean and cozy. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It is very convenient to be able to park in front of your cabin. We would definitely stay here again!

Almost a night's stay in Nevada City

Hotel staff had worked with us for over a year to accommodate our travel needs, I had to cancel the reservation the day before our stay due to traveler illness.

8/10 Very good

Everything was amazing except for the service at The Star restaurant.

Very welcoming people that are happy to help you enjoy a stay. Little cabins were so great. Outside look rustic, but that is not the inside. Cozy, clean, and just cool to stay in. There is a better rate and stay with train, gold, and museum entrances if you call in...it is in the Virginia City brochure. Totally worth the package if you are staying 2 days or more.

Cute, Quiet Little Cabin

We were pleasantly surprised with this cute, quiet little cabin. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside is very nice. Air conditioning was great for the hot days. The Keurig coffee was fast in the mornings. All the staff was friendly to work with when we needed extra supplies for our stay.

I was surprisingly pleased with the unit. The beds were comfortable and a very homey atmosphere. Loved the furnishings. At first concerned about no TV but, I settled and slept amazingly well with out my back ground noise.

Wanted to stay in Nevada City Hotel

I had worked with Nevada City Hotel for over a year getting rooms, changing dates, changing number of room, and change people's name that were staying. The staff was ALWAYS helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, we could not stay and had to cancel the entire reservation the day before the need.

Go back in time - wonderful stay!

Don’t miss out on these cabins. The cabins have been updated with modern conveniences. The two queen bed cabin (number 9) is nice size. The bathroom is small, but clean and functional. We enjoyed our two night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The Star Restaurant is great for breakfast or lunch and within walking distance. The train is across the street and the museum is top notch. We will be back! Thank you for an awesome experience and lodging!

8/10 Very good

We found this property on the same day as we were traveling home from a long 3 Natl Park road trip. The property is in a BEAUTIFULLY restored historic western town. The checkin/checkout process at the main hotel in town ( think restored western cowboy main st ) was super simple & the lady who checked us in was wonderfully pleasant & super helpful. The cabins are grouped together a short drive away & we were so pleased with the cabin we had. VERY clean, Cozy, Quite & we felt very Safe there. We would HIGHLY recommend this property !

Loved our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Really appreciate the management, the day we checked in Mastercard was down! I'd booked the cabin for 3 nights. They worked with me accepting the first nights stay. Mastercard was good to go the the next day. Thank you

Rustic cabin is part of Virginia City Historical Association. It is situated across from a train depot that offers short trips into Virginia City. It is also part of a long line of cabins, attached and unattached to the rear as well as examples of a small gold mining town with recreations of each business inside. The Star restaurant was mere steps from our cabin with an attached bakery. Hours and menu are posted outside as well as the rustic Nevada City hotel which offers booking info on the outside. Check in was in Nevada City (3 miles) at the Fairweather Inn. Nevada City is a cute western town with shops, restaurants and museums. We loved the experience. The cabin was adorably outfitted; however, no tv included. We just streamed using our smart phone. Staff stayed in a cabin behind us to offer assistance if needed. A coffee maker and small fridge were present. Heat and a window airconditioner kept the room comfortable. There is spacious grassy areas for kids or dogs to play. Only certain cabins will accomodate a dog. It was a great time, much worth the stay.

2/10 Poor

This is by far the worst hotel for customer service. The girl named Janelle that checked us in was an absolute b!tch. She was unbelievably rude and condescending. I will bad mouth this hotel on every platform I can find. They cancelled my reservation for no reason and blamed it on Expedia. The manager did absolutely nothing to make the situation right and up charged us $70. We had to stay because I had booked 3 rooms total and could not leave my friends. Truly one of the worst experiences I have had to deal with. We have traveled the world and never experienced anything like this before. We will go back to staying at the Gray Wild Lodge which is lovely. The rooms were ok. Nothing great to be honest. The beds we’re comfortable and the bathroom counter top was nice. No bathroom in the lobby which was desperately needed after spending 45 minutes trying to get into our room.
