We gave Candlewood more chances than they deserved. In 4 reservations there, (two trips a few years apart) they got our prepaid reservation right. The first time, we got the right room, but the stove didn't work. They sent us to another room that was 1/2 the size without adequate sleeping arrangements. We cooked dinner in that suite - had to clean it and then went through the halls with our dinner to go back to the first room to eat and sleep.
Yet, we decide to give them another chance one this trip. Sorry to say it was no better.
On this trip, both times we arrived to check in with our prepaid reservation, they didn't have an appropriate room for us and there was nowhere for us to sleep. We ended up scrambling to find a room in another hotel. They only refunded ONE night of our reservation. (we paid for two in total this trip) The desk clerk was unwilling to spend 2 minutes on a computer so we Might be able to get our money back on the second night.
The experience they put us through is definitely not what Anyone would want to ruin their vacation with.
