Staff was great, cold breakfast was very good and filling, common area, deck and patio all very nice. For our room, I feel like the following happens a lot: needs some TLC. Some of the problems require $ so get why those issues exist but a lot of them are just doing a deep cleaning and small fixes. Otherwise nice stay overall.

What a truly delightful stay. A very comfortable bed, very adequate bath with lots of hot water. The staff is welcoming, the backyard is a lovely place to relax and enjoy some tranquility. This is such a lovely place to stay, sunny and bright, in a great location. Delicious breakfast overlooking the garden, and Marta is a kind and thoughtful host, with recommendations for what to see in Colonia. Rooms vary in comfort and quiet so ask if you’re not sure. My tip is to stay a night or two instead of rushing back to the city. It’s a charming town.
