The hotel have roaches I mean roaches Falling out the pictures frames cabinets shower head mirrors. We slept with the lights on. Our room floor was very very sticky. This was a hotel from hell very traumatizing situation for my children and I.

Never got to check in, they had over booked . Then i had to set on the phone for 2 hours while they tryed to fine me a room . Which i wasnt able to get til the next day! Was a terrible experience! I was also told they would refund me $50 for the inconvenience and extremely long wait on the telephone. Still have not received the refund.

Traveling back from holidays with my daughter I realized I would need to stop in Kansas City unexpectedly and got on hotels.com to book a spot. I found an extended stay hotel in my budget and reserved the room - paying in full through hotels.com. I booked the room about four hours prior to arriving. Once I arrived the hotel smelled of weed, the front desk attendant had a sign up that she was busy helping another customer when in reality she was around the corner smoking. Once she came into the front, she advised me they did not have a room for me due to low staffing and only being rooms with two beds that were available. She told me I would need to call hotels.com in order to get it rectified. I got on the chat with hotels.com who then called the front desk attendant and cleared everything up so they said. When I went inside the second time to claim my room the front desk attendant informed me I would need to pay the difference since they only had rooms with two beds available. Front desk attendant was sketchy, offering me the room card telling me to go check out the room make sure I liked it before accepting trying to hold my ID but it just didn’t feel right. When she tried to charge me the difference the amount for the full room popped up on the screen instead. I told her that I needed to say only the difference for me to swipe the card. This place is disgusting. Roaches crawling all over the room. Giant plastic bags on the mattress but only a thin fitted sheet on it. No amenities. The tub may have been clean but was so old I thought it may be rotted. I slept with the lights on. In my mom’s room the fridge door didn’t close and roaches were just crawling all over it. The front desk person was nice but closed up after we left. I regret not reading the reviews but there is an Extended Stay in my mom’s town and it is super nice so I thought this would be the same. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Not a good experience

The room was not clean and the walls and nightstand drawer were downright filthy. There were bugs, dead and alive, and the bathroom door didn't have a handle, just a hole where one should be. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights. We ended up staying about 10 minutes before deciding the state of the room was too bad. It's been almost a month and they have not given us a refund. Hotels.com told me they pursued one on our behalf multiple times, but that Extended Stay appeared to be unwilling. We are not talking a refund of just 1 night, but of 5 nights, so it is a significant chunk of money. It's very unfair that they're holding onto it when we didnt even stay due to unsatisfactory conditions. I waited this long to write a review because I had no desire to hurt their business if they made things right and I wanted to give them a chance to do so. But they have not.

Horrific - will never stay again

The first room, #226, had an air conditioner that had been vandalized and didn't work. The second room, #232, had a TV that didn't work, roaches, and we couldn't leave the room because they couldn't get a key to open the door. Only the management all-access key would open the door. So once we were let in, we were stuck for the night. Our only other option was a room on the 4th floor, but with no working elevator, that was too much for us to deal with when we were exhausted from a long day of travel. Thank you, Paula Laridon

Terrible experience from the start. Rude front desk woman that didn’t want to be there. Elevator was not working, no electricity in room, obviously no TV, no bath towels but lots of roaches in bathroom! Don’t ask or complain attitude from front desk clerk. Gave me super old worn out towels and would offer another room or be apologetic. Will not be going there ever and do not recommend at all. Actually will be calling corporate office for formal complaint.

Don’t stay here

The front desk smelled like pot. The elevator was broken, and there was a sign on it that said “elevator do not work”. That was the first red flag. The stairwell smelled like dogshit. When we got to the 3rd floor where our room was, many of the rooms had trash bags in front of the doors. When we got to our room there was a trash bag in front of it and inside were bunch of bug traps with dead bugs in them. Our room was apparently been used as storage for cleaning equipment and supplies, and that was the last straw. We turned around and left.
