Perfect for a short stay. Very warm, clean and comfortable. Very close to shops and beach. Check in and check out was super easy. Only critique would be that the walls were thin and you could very easily hear the conversation of the guests in the room next door.

The hotels in this area have been around for a very long time. They have that weathered look. This hotel had what we were looking for. No frills and clean. We had a one bedroom, with an open dining /living room and galley kitchen. The kitchen came equipped with coffee maker, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove. The location was great one block from the ocean, one block to the center of town. Take the LIRR taxi over and you don’t need a car for a weekend getway. Enjoy!

The women that worked in the hotel office the day of my check in was so rude and unfriendly. I never felt so unwelcomed by somebody in my life. I understand working customer service can be rough, I do it everyday. However this women didn’t smile and just made me feel like every word out of my mouth was irritating her. Really set my parents a little off when I told them how the conversation went with her, as this was my trip for them. We also had no hot water for 45 min on Thursday which when the party of people are trying to run through showers to get to dinner reservations and it makes you late is very annoying.
