Everything done to simplify things (and reduce costs) for the hotel like self booking in, clearing own tray at breakfast (like Ikea) but staff on hand if any issues. You absolutely CANNOT get a better location! Walking distance to both the airport and the train system that brings you directly to the Bergen downtown area!! I would have rated it a 5 had the room been a bit larger. We barely had room for our luggage. Their restaurant has a limited but good menu.

Stay was due to an early morning flight. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage while we headed out for a few hours. Check in was easy tried the self check in but i had a problem so was helped at the check in desk,Staff were patient and friendly.Being a strawberry member i had my free coffee . Room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. my son used the gym and we ordered food via the app which was easy to use .Food choices were basic but food was prepared quickly and was tasty enough.We had to be out very early so just managed to grab a quick cold drink and a slice of bread in the morning .I am sure the hot breakfast is good but we didn't have time. Quick walk to the airport so location is perfect.

Our first room's toilet had visible stool splattered on the inside. We then asked for a new room, which we were moved down the hallway. Unfortunately, this room also had a similar toilet issue, but not as significant. It was late at night and we had an early flight, so we just dealt with it.

This is a great hotel to spend the night if you have an early flight out of Bergen. The Terminal is just a short walk away, however, I was glad that I was able to drop off my checked baggage before I walked over because part of the path was icy and slippery. I assume the Part actually on hotel grounds was cleared completely. Check in was friendly and quick. You can also check yourself in and use the hotel App as a room key. I didn‘t so I don‘t know how well that works. The Room was clean and Scandi Style, if a bit on the small side, the Bath was roomy, though, with a nice spacious walk-in shower. Breakfast had a decent selection. You can get cold breakfast from 4.30 am and warm dishes from 6.00 am. There‘s a Train to the City Center, but I World recommend a more centrally located Hotel to actually visit the City.
