My experience at this hostel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was charged again for my stay, even though I had already paid by credit card through Expedia. Due to a communication error on their side, the hostel had no record of my payment, and I was forced to pay a second time to avoid being turned away.
Although I immediately provided proof of the original payment, I was told the refund would be processed in a few days. That was on April 20, 2025. Today is May 14, 2025, and I still have not received the refund. My attempts to contact the hostel via email and WhatsApp have been completely ignored. No replies at all.
On top of that, the facilities were far from comfortable: extremely low beds, a tiny and unsafe bathroom, many stairs with no elevator, and no power outlets near the beds.
After the initial issue, the receptionist offered one day of locker use and breakfast during my stay, but that gesture does not make up for the stress, inconvenience, and lack of professionalism I encountered.
I am still waiting for a refund and a response, both from the hostel and from Expedia. I would not recommend this place.
