This is a nice option in an otherwise remote area. The breakfast station was nice, the lake view was great and the room was spacious and clean. Some of the decor/ amenities in the room were a bit out of date, like not having a USB port in any of the lamps or as an add-on for easy electronic charging. But, there's a gas station next door where I was able to go pick up a cube.

Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. The shower/toilet really needs to be updated. The shower is so old and there is zero water pressure and toilets are very old and stained. The rates are high for this area so it'd be nice to have some water pressure and clean toilets. Besides that, it's a great location and we would stay here again.

It was a good time but the bathroom fan didn’t work properly and the shampoo and conditioner was not in a place that you could use it in the shower and the lotion was so hard to get out of the tiny little bottle and not enough to use on the entire body none of them enough for 1 person and their were 2 of us! Not worth the price of the room, View was good looking at the Lake staff was accommodating, room was clean,Air conditioner worked.

This is our sixth time booking a stay at Topaz Lake Inn. The Host offers us the room we like, on the third floor, with a panoramic view of the lake. The room is sparkly clean, the mattress is super comfortable, and the WIFI is extremely quick and reliable. The inn is a great starting point for HWY 108, 4, and Lake Tahoe. It is 2 minutes from a Tesla supercharger and a convenience store.

Topaz Lake view

This is an older hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet, and good size. Bed was a bit too hard for my comfort. Good view of the lake, but too far to walk to easily. A basic breakfast was provided. Staff was welcoming.

Everything was emasculate. The desk clerk recommended we eat at the casino next door (only other option was driving 20 miles into town). Although we didn’t want to eat at a casino, the cafe there was very clean & the food was very good!

Room was very nice, bed was hard but to each their own. Quiet despite traffic outside. Central location. Ripped coat on sharp burr on Lobby sign, not a biggie but response from lady in office was “should have walked so close to the sign” 🙄

My husband and I were in for a family function and there wasn’t any room at our families home so we stayed here at Western. It was awesome. They continental breakfast is pretty awesome lot to choose from which makes it nice for all different ages in your family. We loved our room size. It was really nice and large open clean. I couldn’t ask for anymore. Thank you.
