Wow where do I begin… this was the first hotel of our honeymoon and we never wanted to leave!! One of the best hotels we ever stayed at. The room was secluded, with a balcony and view of the ocean. You can hear chickens and roosters in the mornings which was a unique touch. The property is amazingly well kept. The pool area especially was amazing and so relaxing with the view of the ocean. The breakfast was awesome and the waiter was so so nice and calm, very attentive. Their staff is amazing and helpful. Cleaning service also was awesome, they made your room spotless each day. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. The experience was unforgettable. The most relaxing place we could have ever gone to for our honeymoon. For couples this place is a haven and perfect escape!

Loved our week long stay at Villa Gianlica. The property is so beautiful and exceeds expectations from the pictures. The space is clean, updated, and excellent views from every part of the facility. The staff made us feel at home, especially Marika and Tomaso. They gave us excellent recommendations and helped us with whatever we needed. Could not recommend more! Hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful property with a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. High quality renovation and modern. We loved everything about this property! Easy walk to a handful of restaurants although we preferred lunch at Villa Gianlica as the food is picked fresh from the property. We hope to return again in the future!

Easy location form the SITA bus stop. We underestimated the logistics of getting around Amalfi area, but very convenient close to the local bus and the larger bus to get to further away destinations. Hotel was also super helpful booking a last minute excursion to Capri. And breakfast in the garden was just so peaceful overlooking the water. Beautifully maintained, quiet hotel . We loved our stay

Best hotel ever

We have been on a 3 week trip through Italy and this hotel by far has been the BEST! Marika at the hotel communicated with me via email before the trip helping me plan things to do for 10 of our friends. The hotel is the most beautiful property I’ve ever seen. The lunch they served when we arrived was amazing!!! We would definitely go back. Praiano is quiet but it is easy to travel to other cities. Best restaurant was In Pirato incredible views and delicious food!

We had an absolutely stunning stay at Villa Gianlica. The property is even more beautiful than the photos can show, and every element of our time there was outstanding - from the service across the team, to the quality of the food, to the amenities available. Marika especially was incredible - the most helpful host we’ve ever had. We couldn’t speak more highly of Villa Gianlica and were so sad to leave! We will be back.

I loved staying here. As a solo traveler it was a very friendly quiet experience. I loved the room, the balcony, grass & trees! The fresh breakfast was so special with produce from their garden. The bus to Positano & other connections stopped across from the hotel. It is a very neighborhood feeling but very private, too. Having a lemoncello spritz before the bar closed at 8 was a special nightcap. Ciao the best to your special place!

Not close to anything. It was a lot of steps to get to the beach. we had a cruise scheduled for Capri that didn’t go because of the weather. only one pizza restaurant within walking distance. The balcony had a nice view of the ocean

Everything was good , nothing was amazing The service was ok , the breakfast was good , tasty kind of minimal . The view from the room was good . Was very disappointed to know I need to pay for a plastic coat 30 euros a night for my baby . There was nothing to welcome us in the room such as bottle of water or whatever etc . I would not recommend , in my opinion there is lots of choice around .

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. Very helpful with all inquiries. They organise transfers if you require them, dinner reservations and will assist you with whatever you need. Couldn't rate this place any higher. It is absolutely beautiful. If you know how to ride a bike i would recommend hiring a scooter as it makes it a lot easier to travel around the Amalfi Coast and there is parking right outside the hotel. The buses can get extremely packed and at times you may not fit on. Do your self a favour and stay at this hotel.

Just beautiful!! The decor was clean white & bright. The view was spectacular with your own private small yard/balcony to enjoy. The property is big and a lovely area of discovery. The back area is tiered with a lemon grove that offers shade to relax & read. The next tier is a tranquil pool area and chaise lounges. Below that a beautiful garden. The hotel offers breakfast daily where you’ll meet Tomas the MOST wonderful host. The team uses most of its ingredients straight from their fabulous garden. We utterly enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

We loved our stay at Villa Gianlica. High praise to the team who were exceptional hosts. Marika was so attentive, helpful and always keen to recommend places to visit and eat. Tomaso was the most kind and gentle man, very chatty and makes excellent coffee. Both were a real pleasure to meet. We felt very well looked after. The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. The views overlooking the sea from the hotel were second to none. They also have a garden where they grow their own produce which was available to eat at breakfast. The tomatoes and homemade fig jam were our particular favourites! Eggs were also available on request such as omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled etc. All delicious and set us up for the day! The hotel is in a great location, with a bus stop just outside. The walk to the marina is only 15 minutes. Also, a good choice of restaurants nearby which was ideal as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back for a visit soon!

Amazing boutique hotel in Praiano

Excellent place to stay in Praiano/Amalfi region Breakfast was amazing & it changed daily We had the Superior room with large tub & largest patio overlooking the sea Bus stop steps away Local stores in walking distance Lots of steps to get around which is par for anywhere in Amalfi region Staff was very helpful Room was large & very clean( cleaned every day) If you like more than 2 pillows I suggest you ask them when you check in Pool & gardens are very nice & well maintained Highly recommend Kasai for dinner up the hill & easy walking distance Cafe Mirante in town for cool drinks (bar was a little hard to find) Franchino’s in town on the sea had amazing views, wine & food & highly recommend Positano has great views & lots of shopping but beware of taking the buses in town & around due to overcrowding (you may get pushed around & will have to stand the whole way there)-you can buy tickets at local store near the hotel Small beach in town is in walking distance & is very quaint & has some good places to eat there Overall boutique hotel was amazing & a great find We would stay there again for sure

A Boutique hotel with less than a dozen rooms, personal service and very attentive staff. The room has its own terrace, with well kept grass, with the spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast and the Salerno bay. The room had its own jacuzzi, and three levels below, there is another jacuzzi. A level below from the room, a beautiful pool: all with the amazing Amalfi views. The same for the breakfast area: full breakfast with breathtaking view. The Hotel helps you book table at any of the three restaurants just minutes walk from the Hotel. A bar is just across the street. Pre-order parking if you come with your car. Located in the higher park of Praiano, the bus stops at the hotel and takes you straight to Positano. Great value for money given the service, view, location.
