The place was tidy, a good location, close to 24 hour grocer, a bit of work going on at the time we stayed so there was scaffolding all around but that was ok, easy parking, easy access to more towels and condiments if you needed them, the only let down was the noise from the other room (which can’t be helped) and the kitchen was not equipped with what we needed with 4 people staying. Ie: 1small pot to cook other then that it was ok

Comfortable accommodation, basic amenities and on a Main Street so convenient for taxi/Uber and 5 minute walk to intercity bus near campus. Several good restaurants. Buddha Stix restaurant for dinner and the Good Earth cafe for breakfast or lunch. Campus closed for the summer so not every restaurant open but enough for our two night stay. Managers kind and friendly and certainly working hard to make the motel a success.

Original room was facing the road and a bit noisy. This was a minor issue compared with the No Smoking room smelling of cigaret smoke. We let the manager know and she moved us to another room that was significantly better. This is an older motel that was when we stayed being repainted externally. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Location on George Street is conveniently close to the city.

Funky apartment. Great for family or two couples

My wife and I stayed in the two-bedroom "family" apartment along with my brother and his wife. The apartment is large and the layout is quite funky. It is constructed on 3 levels with the entrance at the lowest level, the kitchen & living room on the next level, and the bedrooms and bath on the top level. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other has 3 twins. There is another twin in the "living room." There is a single bathroom. The kitchen facility was fine, with a rather large refrigerator. We cooked breakfast in the electric frying pan that was provided. We couldn't find a toaster, which we would have appreciated. We used and liked the laundry facilities. The hotel is located close to the university, and there is a convenience store located within a block. Grocery stores are walkable but further away. This apartment was a good deal for the two couples.
