Great location to visit Mount Rainier!
Donna, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Simple hotel for a brief stay near Mt Rainier
Heiko, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Front desk was helpful in answering questions about Mt. Rainier National Park and gave great food recommendations!
Tarin, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Very convenient to the national park!
Kari, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

I liked that the hotel was rustic with modern amenities. We thought there was a breakfast but there is not.
Judith, 2-night trip

Emily, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Overall great short stay. Found hair in bed don’t know if sheets had been changed
Chris, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Clean near hiking
George, 3-night trip

4/10 Poor

The front desk staff was unpleasant. The hotel lost power and running water on our first night, and refused to offer a refund or discount for the inconvenience.
Gabriel, 5-night trip

8/10 Good

The property provided the proximity to the park we were looking for during peak season when so much was booked during our last minute planning. It is true that walls are this and sound traveled. A highlight was waking up to 6+ Elk walking the road outside our window.
Sara, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Serene
Lalith, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Not sure why it has such high ratings. The floor in our room was dirty, as was the floor outside our room. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the ceilings and walls are thin. The room upstairs was loud and we could hear everything. Given other available options, we will not stay here again.
Sarah, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Not very clean, rude staff.
Mehdi, 3-night trip

6/10 Okay

Structure ok, no breakfast room
Claudio, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

She was able to get me checked into my room early. They did have a soda machine I was not sure was out of order but I got refunded my quarters. Great place to stay, very nice.
Michael, 1-night trip

NORMAN D, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Blake, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

My only issue was that the voices in the hall were so loud.
Debbie, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Unfortunately, the Crest Trail Lodge was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in years. While lodging options in Packwood are limited, I recommend to look elsewhere. 3 things stood out in a negative way: 1- As mentioned in other reviews, the staff was the rudest I’ve ever experienced. I never felt welcome 2- There is virtually no sound proofing. We could hear every movement of our upstairs neighbours 3- The basics were not in place: poor wifi, no breakfast options
Bart, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Love staying here!
Mary, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

To be fair, the property is clean and comfortable. However, the front desk staff was quite unwelcoming during check-in. We arrived an hour early with a car full of luggage, but were bluntly told that early check-in was not possible and that they couldn’t store our bags. As a result, we had to visit the park with all our luggage in the car, which was inconvenient and disappointing. A bit more courtesy and flexibility would have made a big difference.
Xiangzhen, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Very nicely updated rooms and hallways, very happy with that. There was a distinct smell of a cat living there. Area behind front desk looked more like someone’s unkept bedroom (which matched the cat smell) rather than a professional hotel.
Ron, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Nice place. Would recommend going after mid May due to road closures. Had some difficulty/delay getting to the property.
