Definitely 5 🌟 's, will definitely be back.
The room was clean, the staff was very informative and friendly, the bed was very comfortable ( lots of pillows), good size tv, a microwave, fridge and I like how the sink is in a separate area from the toilet and shower with a handy coffee maker and hair dryer. The continental breakfast was very good, it has a year round pool and hot tub, volleyball net, barbecue right outside my porch, a deck for an outside get together and easy access walking trail just minutes to the beach. I couldn't say enough good things about the place. You can tell by looking at the paint that it's near the beach it's a little faded from all the salty air but once you go into the room it's really relaxing.

Chautauqua Resort had it all!
My husband and I were taking a short vacation to Long Beach WA and I found the Chautauqua Resort for our stay. When we opened up the door to our room on the 3rd floor, my husband was very excited to see what all the room featured. We were pleased to see a dining table and chairs so we could play cards at night. The bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was larger than normal and the shower water was hot. The exhaust fan was to be used to keep the room cool and no hot steam to escape the bathroom. The full breakfast had quite a variety and was delicious. The front desk help was friendly and very accommodating. We used the hot tub twice and saw there was also a sauna but we didn’t use it. The pool was slightly heated and extremely clean. I was very impressed. Chautauqua Resort was conveniently located and we also drove about 10 miles on the beach (it is a Washington highway) and back. We decided that we will return again next year.

Family Beach Retreat
We visited after Christmas for a new years retreat with our kids. Upon check-in we were given a room that was very outdated, cold, and unpleasant. The room did not match any pictures from the listing with green stained carpet and interior from the 70's. When we asked to be moved we were told there was no where to move. After two hours the room never got above 55 degrees due to one wall heater. When using the bathroom the toilet handle broke off and at this point the staff was able to move us into an updated room that matched pictures.

Excellent Views and Welcoming Staff
The location is beautiful! Went to sleep to the sound of the ocean and woke up to see the waves out the balcony doors. The building is dated, especially the elevator, but there have been many things updated in the room. The bed had fresh sheets and was comfortable. There were a couple of dustbunnies in corners but generally clean. I could see this being an incredible spot to be in the summer.
