View from your room!! Amazing
If you have an opportunity to upgrade to the room with a view of the Grand Canyon do it! We did and it was amazing waking up to sunrise overlooking the canyon.

Nice sized room right at the South rim with easy access to Grand Canyon shuttle buses and the other attractions in the village. Free parking. Walk to restaurants and interpretive center, shops, etc. near Bright Angel Trail. Rooms are standard hotel rooms. But the view…

Adequate for a National Park
For a National Park hotel it met expectations. The room was clean and comfortable but we did not receive service on the second day. The coffee was not replenished and trash was not emptied. The restaurant at the El Tovar was excellent.

Excellent location and view from room. Decent and clean rooms.
However a microwave in room would have helped, and the elevator was not working.

Location is perfect, very close to Bright Angel Trail. Dinning options are great. Facilities are nice. The only downside is parking, its hit or miss.

Liked the room. Everything worked.
Parking is tight, even in January. I had to park out on Village Loop Drive. The lodge had great views and costs alot.

Being right on the rim of thr Grand canyon was amazing! The parking situation can be a little bit of a headache but really the walk between El tovar & Bright Angel isn't bad just go to the rim & enjoy the view while you walk between.
