Old prison cells that are transformed to hotel rooms are quite funny even if not very practical. If you travel alone it does not matter that much but for two they are too small.

Terrific vibe, once you realize this facility was formerly a prison and has been historically preserved with conscious care and attention. Don’t expect expansive luxurious room sizes and embrace functional simplicity with all creature comforts that are reasonable for the traveler.

We stayed for the night due to a concertvisit. Rooms are tidy, friendly servicepeople. Rooms are quite small, appx 2,5x3 meters plus bathroom and windows a bit high up, gets you an idea really of how it was to be in prison here. Breakfast was great and their museum about the prison really nice and interesting. The area around the hotell is a really nice oasis to stroll around in.

VĂ€ldigt mysigt hotell som övertrĂ€ffade vĂ„ra förvĂ€ntningar! Mycket god frukost, mysig bar/lounge och bra service. Vi fick veta före att rummen var vĂ€ldigt smĂ„ men vi, tvĂ„ vuxna och tvĂ„ tonĂ„rskillar, hade gott om plats. Även vackert belĂ€get med strand och badplats bara ett stenkast bort. Det enda negativa var att receptionen inte hade nĂ„gon "livs" , sĂ„ om man behöver exempelvis behöver köpa mat, typ youghurt eller diverse varor som tandkrĂ€m, fĂ„r man traska ivĂ€g till en affĂ€r som lĂ„g en bit bort. Men bortsett frĂ„n det kan vi verkligen rekommendera detta hotell!

Älskar LĂ„ngholmens hotell för den fantastiska omgivningen och den upplevelse hotellet skapat kring sin historia. Det Ă€r sĂ„ genomarbetat och gör vistelsen till en riktig upplevelse. Jag gillar att sitta och arbeta i ”glaskorridoren”, hĂ€rligt med utsikten dĂ€rifrĂ„n. Frukosten Ă€r enastĂ„ende, mycket att vĂ€lja pĂ„ och allt Ă€r vĂ€ldigt gott. Deras hemlagade nutella och egenbakade fruktbröd - WOW! Personalen bĂ„de pĂ„ hotellet och i restaurangen extremt hjĂ€lpsam och vĂ€nlig (en extra eloge till Manne i receptionen och mi restaurangen - bĂ„da tvĂ„ gav service som var ”above & beyond”.
