Location was perfect for Pioneer days activities in Negaunee. The hotel is clean and staff is terrific! The only negative, is not somthing the hotel can improve, but the county/state is its very hard to turn left to go to Negaunee with traffic coming in both directions.

Desk clerk not at the desk or reachable when we arrived at 8:00pm. Then, had forgotten his reading glasses, so could barely read important stuff like my Driver's License ID and my credit card numbers (scanner didn't work). Didn't mention that the WiFi password is on the key card envelope (usually in the room somewhere). 5 min. drive into Ishpeming, where we found the BEST Italian Restaurant! Mama Mia's. Rated the best in the UP in 2014, Well deserved.
