This is such a cute little gem of a hotel. We had a lovely stay. Late check-in was very smooth and the amenities were well thought out. The location was great for us to walk the town. Parking was easy and convenient. We’ll definitely be back!
Eric, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Nicely updated older property. I checked in after the staff had left for the day, so I didn't interact with any. Great Norwegian/Scandi restaurant downstairs. Would stay again.
Kevin, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Good overall. I liked the vibe, and the room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lack of parking, noise between rooms, and having to use the door keypad in the evening were not great. Still, would stay again.

Terrible
John, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Despite some reviews complaining of noise, we had no problems and didn't even use the provided earlier plugs. The room was bigger than we expected, bed was comfy and we appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave oven.

The Gentleman that checked us in was friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome

6/10 Okay

Nice but tired restoration of a classic hotel. Needs; hook, towel bars, new mattresses, pillows, and bedding.
Neal, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Liked the location and style. Just wished it had a microwave, ice maker, and fridge. Otherwise really nice.
Katie, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Check in and check out were automated, we never saw a staff person the whole time we were there. Felt a bit creepy but ok. We had no problems that required staff assistance but other guests did and were grumpy about it.
Mackenzie, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

I've never had this happen before, but the property was not what we expected. It's basically a 19th century hotel property, in good condition, but fundamentally unchanged. Common bathroom, no air conditioning. This was not obvious from the Expedia entry, but admittedly, I was just looking at the pictures (which look great) and not reading the fine print and contemplating what "shared bathroom" actually means. We did not stay, opting instead to drive 90 minutes to a suburb of Portland.
