Old South Charm
This is a 19th Century hotel. It was as if I was back in the Old South. Rocking chairs on the wrap around porch, and few blocks from the mighty Mississippi River. My only caution is there are NO elevators, and rooms are on 2 floors. So not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Sweet patio where you can eat breakfast outside..I was there for a funeral, so not lots of time to spend at the hotel.
Room are spacious and this city is full of Southern history!

Very friendly and helpful service. Charming spacious comfortable historic hotel beautifully furnished. Great location. Table service breakfast was very good.
Old hotel so handicapped accessibility could be a challenge for some.
Rooms on first floor but no elevator that we saw to other floors.
