Not fancy but does the job!
I stayed here because it was the cheapest option. They were friendly and had everything I need for a no frills experience.

Mayor crash pad situation. Thankful for the price but very basic situation. Would stay again for sure but have low expectations.

Small, loud
Poor room conditions, especially in the bathroom. Both the toilet paper and towel holders were broken. Bed was not very comfortable and the street noise was quite loud. Would not recommend

The staff was accommodating and kind. Clean, good security. Noise was typical NYC. One block from MSG and by great bar (Walter’s) and deli (Gardenia). Coming back next year for sure.

Such a cute hotel! I stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday while traveling (it is right next to the train station). The staff was very friendly, it was easy to check in and I felt really safe. The room was small, but cozy and clean. The only downside for me was carrying luggage up the stairs. I would definitely stay there again!

Great price for the location
This room was perfect to have a place to rest our heads after a concert. The property staff were very friendly. I loved the emphasis on security. The room and bed was clean.

No frills, but great for the price
The hotel is near the train station, honestly not the best neighborhood, but it’s convenient to transportation, and the hotel security made me feel very safe. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was very helpful.

No frills, but excellent for the cost
It’s not a fancy hotel of course, but my room and bathroom were immaculate, the front desk was very helpful, and the security in the hotel was so good I felt very safe.

Ummm, you’ve been war ed
I was simply looking for a shower and a bed after workin many hours. It was surprising to find my booking was for a 4 story walk up. Lots of city can be heard from my room, including the sounds of pigeons cooing and landing on the window air conditioning unit, there was a nice little lamp on the bedside table, with nowhere to plug it in, basically just a show piece, but not to worry because the bathroom had a motion sensor to turn on the lights and loud exhaust fan, every time I moved in bed. Luckily I love hot showers because there was only one temperature, hot & I do mean hot wait it gets better of the 3 handles (usually hot on left, cold on right, and center diverts waster from tub to shower head), turning left or right handles did nothing, but if I turned center the water started flowing… My first clue should have been earbuds at the front desk… I’ll be back…

You get what you pay for, especially in NYC
It was a tiny room & not very comfortable but for a brief overnight stay it was fine as a place to sleep.

It was fine.
This place is FINE if you need 1 or 2 nights just to lay your head and don't care about space or amenities. It feels like one step up from a hostel and you get what you pay for. There's no elevator, the rooms are small (my sink was next to the bed), and, not that the hotel can help this, but the street noise is incredibly loud since it faces 8th avenue. I was woken up at 4am by someone outside blasting music for about 20 minutes. They do provide earplugs but the only reason I was prepared was because I read an online review (they don't mention it). I think it's only fair you know what to expect staying here. No shade to the staff who were nice enough but I would only stay here again out of desperation.
