This hotel has a lovely location right across from the beach and offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated.
However, our experience was significantly impacted by the check-in process. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and immediately informed us of a “strict no children policy” in a way that felt more like a scolding than a policy explanation. We were not provided with any information about amenities, the property, or our stay. This left us feeling embarrassed and anxious rather than welcomed.
What was particularly confusing was that we couldn’t find this children policy anywhere on their website or booking platform - only a no pets policy was listed. In fact, we found rooms advertised as suitable for families with children, which made the interaction even more puzzling.
The room itself was well-maintained, though the bathroom is quite small and would be challenging for taller or larger guests.
While the property has potential with its charming beachside location, the unwelcoming check-in experience turned what should have been a relaxing getaway into a stressful situation. We had originally intended to extend our stay and ended up cutting our stay short to continue our vacation elsewhere.
With improved customer service and clearer policy communication, this could be a wonderful place to stay.
