Lovely stay near the Amboise castle. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant as well. The view of the river was magnificent and staff very nice. Our room was detached from the manor but it was convenient considering the amount of luggage we had.

There is nothing conceivably possible to say negative about this lovely hotel. The rooms are wonderful, the staff as accommodating as could be possible and the location perfect. Highly recommend

A beautiful small boutique hotel with lovely appointments and attention to detail. Many med - to high end restaurants within walking distance. A great location to use as a base for Chateau visits. The town of Amboise is very nice, much smaller than Tours which was an advantage in our opinion.
Nina’s restaurant recommendations and service were excellent !

The property itself is clean and well-maintained. Our room was on the top floor with a small window that had a view of the Chateau which was magical.
The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice. You are right in town and close to plenty of restaurants and a grocery store.
The staff was nice and helpful. Our stay was excellent and we would definitely re-book this hotel.

Very lovely small hotel. Ground floor is all public with the two floors above with guest rooms. The ground floor has large, gracious rooms for sitting, conversation and breakfast dining. Ideal location for walking around Amboise. Very pleasant stay overall. The only negative I can think of was breakfast. They could really up their game on breakfast.

As nice as this hotel was in a lot of ways I’m not really getting how it can be considered five stars. It honestly felt more like a three and a half star hotel. Staff were very attentive, but it lacks the facilities one would reasonably expect for five star prices.

This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is that they have some unusual rules that we have not experienced at any other property that I have travelled. For example, at 10:45pm we were told that we needed to leave the lobby (four adults enjoying a glass of wine (not loud at all but having a quiet conversation about our day and what we would be doing the following day) and were asked to move to our bedroom to finish the conversation in our bedroom which really only has space for two people, not four. Other than that, the people were nice, the breakfast was great, and the property is very beautiful.
