Charming architecture, comfortable rooms

In the historic centre of the town, but in a quiet small street: this hotel is perfectly situated to walk short distances to a lot of monuments, museums, the shopping street or the strange shopping centre behind the reconstructed front of the duke's castle. The outside looks very historical and the stairs inside are as well historical but the rooms show all contemporary standards.

Wir haben eine Nacht dort verbracht, dafĂŒr ging es. In dem Zimmer war in den Ecken viel Staub( lange nicht gereinigt). Durch das Alter der Unterkunft war die Luft im Zimmer sehr stickig( 28 Grad Aussentemperatur). Fenster öffnen war erst spĂ€t möglich, da im angrenzenden Restaurant viel Publikumsverkehr war( Aussenterasse direkt vorm Fenster). Das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war einfach. FrĂŒhstĂŒckszeit von 7-9 Uhr sehr kurz und frĂŒh.

Ein uriges altes Fachwerkhaus, das durch seinen Charme vergangener Tage besticht. Lage ist super, man ist sofort in der sehr schönen Altstadt/Innenstadt. Viele Restaurants und Bars sind fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Innenausstattung ist leider in die Jahre gekommen und hier und da fehlt es leider an Liebe. Trotzdem hab ich den Aufenthalt genossen, man darf eben kein modernes Hotel erwarten. Es knarzt, es ist relativ hellhörig, die Treppenstufen sind mittelalterlich (kurz und hoch), sowie die Deckenhöhe recht gering. Ich schĂ€tze mal 1,85m. Und doch hab ich sehr gut geschlafen, Bett war nebenbei sehr bequem. FrĂŒhstĂŒck war ok, Kaffee und Tee sind vorhanden, RĂ€umlichkeiten werden vom Restaurant nebenan genutzt. FĂŒr Veganer ist die Auswahl allerdings minimalistisch. Mir hat mein Aufenthalt dennoch viel Freude bereitet, eben weil ich mich darauf eingelassen habe und circa wußte worauf ich mich einstellen kann. Das Haus hat viel erlebt und gesehen und das ist schön zu sehen und ein wenig zu erleben, also, gerne wieder :)
