Above my expectations
Cleaner nicer than I expected. Not the most ascetically pleasing but has everything you need and functionally great. Conveniently right off the main road. Easy parking. Friendly service. I arrived late around midnight and had no issues checking in. Beds are nice and firm. Comfortable. The pillows were strangely small squares but wasn’t bad. Has a nice large fridge and convenient small shelves. Perfect for a short stopover before hitting the road again.

It was a Motel 6.
Check in was fine. The parking lot has really tight parking spots, but it's navigable. The room was clean and well taken care of, but our mini-fridge never worked and the flooring in the bathroom was warped and bubbled. Overall, whether we go back or not will depend on the cost and how rich we feel. At $140 for a two-queen room in a motel 6, it's high. But for the area, the hotel was downright affordable.

I've been here over 38 times in the last 3 years. All these bishop motels price gouge 3 times higher than they should for events that dont apply to passing visitors like ski time and mule fest. Like staring at monkeys is fascinating???? Their exceptional big rooms can be noisy some days they get packed and often you may not get a parking spot and tight squeezes in the lot. No bugs good beds. I wasn't happy this trip because I booked an extra day and they expected me to check out and come back at 3 pm for the same room. I just told her I will not and they never did that to me before. These motel s try to make you wish you paid them directly I think so they can milk the higher rates they charge vs the hotels com Expedia apps we use. Water is great and soft.

Nice Motel - Wifi Spotty - Not Enough Coffee
We had a nice overnight stay at the Motel 6 in Bishop. The room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than other similar places we've stayed in town. The towels and sheets were clean and decent quality. It was a little annoying to have to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning instead of making it in the room, and the attendant had trouble keeping enough hot coffee available because guests were filling big thermoses when we were just trying to fill cups. The wifi also didn't work, even though we were right by the office. We were able to connect to it but the internet itself didn't actually work.
