Fantastic room
Fantastic room with sea view made for a magical stay, we added an extra night as it was so good. Loved the fresh milk in fridge to make hot drinks & the breakfast was lovely. Staff were all lovely, especially the young gentleman serving breakfast & the hotel is perfectly located in centre of Lynmouth.

Great location, comfort and service
This is not only a lovely hotel in a great location. The young team go out of their way in every regard: great, local food in their restaurant, very comfy bed and rooms, and the small things which make a difference: I note for example their sustainability efforts: biscuits and condiments in the room in refillable glasses, same with bathroom stuff (including toilet paper by ‘who gives a crap’), fresh milk in a fridge on the landing - no plastic or waste anywhere. Why can’t all hotels follow?

Quirky hotel with beautiful decor.
Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants.
Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well.
Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10

The staff were very friendly both in reception and in the dining room. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh choices. The bedroom was a little dark but cozy and comfortable. The room was made up clean and tidy every day. It was lovely and quiet at night.

Lynmouth Anniversary
Bijou but perfectly formed and very comfortable. We mentioned the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and they were on it.
The food and service was fantastic. We ate in the pub next door both nights and were very pleased with the standard of the food. The only critique was the meat pie, although tender and full of meat, it was very dry as though under a heat lamp for a while.
The staff were super helpful and friendly.
It is slightly more pricey than some hotels but the view and position contribute to this. A quality small hotel and would go again.

Nice cosy hotel
Nice cosy and friendly hotel with pub, good breakfast, attentive staff, allows dogs hence we stayed there. Only two negatives…small very firm double bed not king size, and pub/restaurant didn’t serve food until 18:30 in the evenings.

NO LIFT
The major problem we found with this hotel was that we were on the second floor but there was no lift. Everything had to be carried up 2 flights of stairs.

Very nice hotel run by nice people. The bed and the room (we had a suite) was a little small, but we got used to it. We had our own parking which was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared and good service.

A used towel was left in the room. The bathroom door is below the normal door height, subsequently l banged my head more than once. There should be signage above the doorway advising this.
The breakfast for us was below average, the cooked elements were left far too long in there metal heat dishes.

Very warm welcome by the duty manager Ran who kindly took our bags to our room so that we could order our late lunch in the bar. His hospitality and that of all the staff including Mavlouda in the restaurant was very attentive. The same for the bar staff whose names I unfortunately did not get. Our room was very comfortable with a large walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. The view was lovely

Fantastic breakfast, everything else fine.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight. Sadly the bin in my room was not emptied on arrival and there was hair on the bathroom floor that was not mine and a stain on one of the towels. The hotel reception was rarely open. Wi-Fi was appalling and often bordering on non-existent so couldn't do any work in the room, plus the dressing table wouldn't house a laptop. Nice quirky decor but the room was unbelievably hot and the lights flickered when something hummed outside the room. The stay was fine, just not better than that. Paid for off-site parking, and could imagine trying to park during peak season would be tricky.

Great hotel for exploring North Devon
This is a great place to stay if you're considering exploring Exmoor and the North Devon coast. There are numerous walks along the coastal path or inland following the river. Very helpful staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing stay
Absolutely amazing stay. All the staff where so friendly and welcoming. When we arrived there where two Karen’s shouting at the female staff member and she handled it beautifully. Would highly recommend getting a sea view suite if you can. Would definitely come back again.

Short Stay In Lynmouth
We booked for a 2-day short break in Lynmouth.
First impressions were low due to dark decor and lighting in lounges, dining and at reception but this was the venue 'style'. However, and despite the climbe to the top of the building, the hotel was great.
Breakfast was excellent.
