Not for a budget stay, security deposit demanded

Paid for our stay through the hotels.com app on arrival we was forced to pay a £100 security deposit which was not mentioned before purchasing the room. We use hotels 4 nights a week with our work and have never had to have a security deposit held

Was charged twice for the room

The hotel itself was fine however they claimed they were not able to process our credit card. They insisted on cash which we had to pay then when we reviewed our credit card statement saw that they have also charged our card so we’re scammed for two payments

Worst Receptionist !!

The pictures on hotel.com are misleading; however, the manager is very polite. The extremely rude and ill-mannered Antrim receptionist needs training. His unprofessional and inappropriate behavior was concerning. I wonder what language he understood. The bathroom smelled very bad and was never properly cleaned. The room was not cleaned daily.

Very nice hotel with a strong wifi signal. Located in a nice area and surrounded by stores and cafes, couple of great pubs nearby. The only minus - breakfast isn’t worth £7 at all.

Use this hotel whenever I am in the area. There was a slight problem with a very noisy snorer in an adjacent room, which meant I had little sleep. But this won’t put me off staying here again.

Never again.!! Best western a let down...

Room was like a sauna, too hot all night and uncomfortable, impossible to sleep. At no time did it cool down. Shower was dirty and we had to rinse and wipe with towel before using it.

We were moved to another hotel which house refugee's & other’s that had two 24 hr security guards. Why? So really felt unsafe. We had two gentlemen follow us in a car? Why? This should not be allowed, we should of been told & words cannot express the frighteningly terrible experience.

That hotel room was old, best down with disturbances day and night. I was asked to switch hotels last night to actual greater London best western day before check out last minute. Stayed second time but never again staying

Dirty sheets and dirty mattress cover. Mattress was hurting. Asked for little extra time for checkout, as had checked in at 1 in the morning, staff banged on door and rang the room 3 times in 15 minutes, to pay extra £50 if want to checkout late. At the end got 1 extra hour for £10. Checkout time is too early at 11 am.

Best Western should accept a computer payment

I paid £43 for two nights through Hotels.com only to be told two hours after check in, that a mistake had been made, and I should pay £30 more. I also had to deposit a £20 refundable payment. The counter staff told me that I should claim the money back from Hotels.com. On the morning of check out, the female counter staff did not seem to be the slightest bothered by my request of the twenty pound refund. Very poor service.

AVOID disgusting hotel and service

Th hotel is on a high street very noisy scary and rough, rooms smell and not comfortable, reception or help desk is no help, people shouting and screaming across the corridors!! Had my child with me who has asthma so the strong smoke smell throughout the hotel and room didn’t help! Through the night it’s not just smoke smell but u can smell people smoking drugs!! it’s disgusting service and hotel I’m highly disappointed avoid, there are other best western (sister) hotels one street behind and two further 5 mins walk I did go in there looked better but we just weren’t able to get a room there as they were all full.. **PLEASE AVOID** more so if you are with children

Sentralt i forhold til jernbane.

Best Western har flere bygninger den jeg ble vist til ligger i Argyle Road ikke langt fra Cranbrook Road. Stille og rolig gate ikke noe støy verken ute eller inne. Kun noen hundre m fra Ilford Station.
