We had a wonderful stay at The Spaniards Room. The hosts Greg and Lorraine were both very kind and welcoming. The home itself is gorgeous and filled with so much history. The sleeping area and bathroom were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with air conditioning and cable television provided. We cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough for those visiting the area.

We received a warm welcome from the proprietors in spite of the fact that we arrived early, and they were in the throes of vacuuming. They recommended an excellent local cafe for lunch, and later in the evening shared their outdoor space and conversation over a glass or two of wine. Thanks for a fabulous newfie welcome!

It was a beautiful heritage house with great character. Greg and Lorraine were perfect hosts sharing stories about the area and Newfoundland history.
